19]Off topic[/I] (homeland):

I just found out from a coworker that the character of "Saul" is played by the same guy that played Inigo Montoya in the Princess Bride! I knew he looked familiar!

On topic:

May I have a Nexus, please?

His name is Mandy (Mandel) Patinkin. Very accomplished stage and screen actor and AMAZING tenor. I love his singing in the original Broadway musical "The Secret Garden". He also played lead characters on Criminal Minds and Chicago Hope.

I don't think the only advantage of a dedicated button is for quick access to the camera app. It's also just nicer to use for taking pictures--as opposed to pressing your finger onto the screen.

I really like the dedicated button on my Dx. I think it would be a plus on any phone.

The iPhone doesn't have a dedicated camera button. I do like how the added the option to select it at the lock screen. I am a Droid user all the way though. I have a two year old daughter and I just need a camera fast enough to take pics to keep up with her. I think from all that I read the GNex will be just fine for me especially coming from the Droid 2.

That is such a joke. Apple is consistently reviewed as being better than Android, because of all the things iOS does better than Android. But when an android phone comes along that is this good, all of the sudden you can't make comparisons because comparing an ICS phone to everything else is like comparing apples to oranges. Please!

Actually it's like comparing Apples to Robots... Gee I wonder who wins that fight....... We can't really know for sure, but there is one thing we do know for sure.

ROBOTS :eek::eek::eek:

You're half right. With iOS5, the volume up button is now also the camera button. It doesn't start the app, but it activates the shutter. Works very well. Hopefully there will be an app or option in a custom ROM that will allow us to do something similar with the G Nex

I was told by a couple reps before I preordered the Rezound that Preorders on Iconic devices don't get the $50. Can anyone confirm this?

I just called customer service to update my credit card cause the old one was expiring and while I had him I asked about my "update now with a discount" message on my line and long story short, he specifically told me I could use it when the Nexus comes out. I hope he knows what he's talking about.
