Coming from Sense 2.1 - What do I need to know?

So I'm really considering buying the Droid 4 that should be out in a few weeks, and according to the rumors and specs, it is essentially a RAZR with a QWERTY.

I've got the Incredible 2 right now, so my biggest concern is the transition from that version of Sense to the Blur interface it will [all but certainly] have.

My question to you RAZR users is: How is the new blur? Have any of you come from Sense 2.1? How was the transition?

My priorites are email integration(gmail and IMAP), Facebook integration(similar to Friend Stream? and ease of photo upload and status updating), a good clock app (alarm, desk clock, timer, etc), texting, and good widgets. I did spend some time with a RAZR at a store recently, so I've become somewhat acquainted with it.

In essence, what do I need to know about the Blur UI on this phone? Any help would be awesome, so thanks in advance!

This would be interesting to know. I currently have a Thunderbolt, and I am looking at either the Razr or the Droid 4. I don't mind Sense too much, and I have gotten used to it after having it for a while. I know there would be some sort of a learning curve moving from one to another, just curious of how much of a learning curve. I have been all over these forums since the Razr came out, so hopefully, I will have some knowledge when I do get the phone.

I was Inc and then Tbolt before coming over to Razr. While the advantages of the phone are great (and far outweigh the disadvantages), I do miss Sense. I find the dialer and contacts apps lame. Messaging OK. I ended up making GO Dialer, Go Contacts and GO SMS my stock apps. In fact, I've kinda gone all-Go and am now using the Go Launcher too. The email is also problematic if you're doing corporate exchange. Contact pics don't sync. Even on the HTC's, I used Touchdown so I continue with that and use Enhanced Email simply to sync contacts and calendar. Oh... calendar is just as lame as Sense calendar. I just don't understand the point of a monthly calendar that you can't see text. I use Business Calendar quite happily. To summarize... with the use of some excellent 3rd party apps, Blur is fine... maybe a touch better than Sense, in my opinion.

I came from the HTC Desire. Motoblur (even this version) isen't as slick as Sense in my opinion. For the most part it is similar though.

The clock app blows though ... so you'll likely be looking for another one. I also miss the HTC weather app ... so I'm shopping around. I never used friend stream, just the straight facebook app so I can't help you there. If any of the social multi-media apps connected google+ I would likely use that. Email integration seems fine to me ... and I use all the types (gmail, imap, and corporate sync).

I'd be happy to try and answer any other questions you might have if I can.
