i want to share my screens but i dont know how to do screen captures for an unrooted phone on a Mac. i followed this instructions but it just gives me an error

You take screen shots with the combination of the home and lock buttons... Then simply email yourself the pictures and you can do whatever you like with them.

Smart move if you decide to root, use Shoot me APK, that will allow you to take screen shots, Google the APK as I believe it is not in the market any more, and side load it.

that was the only reason why i never updated my phone. I think I already waited to long and I don't see another way to root my phone without getting a PC and doing it the HTC method. I was told that I could do it by installing windows on my Mac, but I dont want to do that just to root my phone, specially since I dont konw how to and I'm not very good at reading instructions lol so I finally decided to update my phone. I think there's a way to do it on my Mac, but the only way is by doing it the HTC Method, so, I think I'm going to risk it and prolly root it even if I void my Sprint and HTC's Warranty. The point is I just updated my phone! >.<

I remember there being an article somewhere that it is possible on a Mac now if you change your mind.

I haven't rooted my phone yet either I keep teetering back and forth on whether to take the plunge or not. I hear there is something in the works to get root without the HTC method so maybe then I will give it a shot.

glad to see a lot of other people using circle launcher. Such a great widget. I have one on my home screen just for a bunch of apps I might need to get to quickly (like flashlight, camcorder, task manager, calculator, brightness control, and uninstaller)

My guess is that it's specific to Sense based ROMs.
