problem with this feature would be giving someone complete access to your phone, PC is one thing, but phone, not something i care to try. i have this nifty tool called dameware for pc's and i can upload a file through dameware, and you not know whats going on, and i can execute it without you ever knowing, so the same instance can happen on a phone.
personally it would be a great idea, but i just dont trust other people with my cell phone, especially to someone who is half a country away.

There are all kinds of remote assistance apps for PCs. You run it, it gives me complete and total access to your computer, but you can see exactly what I'm doing while I do it. When you close the app, the remote connection goes away. Something like this for Android would be extremely useful.

Now I'm seeing more posts missing in other threads, not just my posts either. Glad I'm not being singled out for some reason.
It looks like a Moderator or someone is "cleaning up". I don't like it. Just because they don't see it as relavent doesn't mean it should be erased. I think a lot of the useless banter in active threads is part of the conversation and should be left there unless it is blatantly out of line or malicious.
It may be in the "rules" somewhere that all posts have to be relavent to the subject, but we all know that isn't realistic. There will always be side notes and back and forths that don't strictly adhere to the thread topic. How is that bad?
I find it insulting that my two lines are remove to presumably "clean up the thread".
