Help All day event in calendar shows up one day early

I just sent the following email to HTC:

I'm having trouble with the calendar on my Hero (Sprint). The 'event details' for all-day calendar entries shows a date one day earlier than the actual date of the event. All other views, including Day and Agenda show the date correctly. This problem is causing the Calendar Widget to have the same issue. Is there any way to correct this issue?

Got the following reply:

Hello [FuzzySlippers],
Thank you for your inquiry about your Sprint Hero. I understand the importance of being able to view the correct date on your all day calendar appointments. I will be more than happy to address this for you. We are aware of a situation with the Calendar events are showing a day earlier and are currently working on a fix for this. When a fix is available, it will be pushed to your device via the Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) update system. I do apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced.

I hope I have addressed your concerns in detail. Feel free to contact us again if your have any further technical inquiries. We will be more than happy to help you. Thank you for contacting HTC Technical Support.

Sounds to me like they mean 2.1

This is an already acknowledged issue by HTC and Sprint. It's in the Known Issues sticky. It was acknowledged way back in November I believe, so hopefully it's been resolved and we'll see the fix in the 2.1 update.

GREAT NEWS!

Hopefully, HTC / Android realizes there is an issue not just with Google Calendar, but in the way contact records birthdays are handled.

I sync my contacts with Outlook (2003) - Not Google.
I enter in all info i.e. name, phone, email AND birthdays
Something happens to the birthday entered where as it changes in the actual contact record on the phone. VERY ANNOYING!

Also, if you have multiple email address for a contact, you get duplicates displayed. VERY ANNOYING.

I moved from PALM Pre to Android... This is one area PALM is superior in ( Contact management & syncing with PC's)

I sync my Sony Ericsson Experia PRO with Exchange through ActiveSync (I've tried ActiveSync, TouchDown, Moxier sync). Birthdays are shown one day earlier than on Exchange Server. It there any solution for it? If not, I want to change it manualy for each contact on my Android device, but I can't find any application, that can do this. Did someone find the solution? Thank you.
