Help New here with questions!

Hello i just joined here and i have a couple questions, i have the incredible 2 from verizon and for some reason my gmail is not pushing to my phone anymore i have to go to my email and press refresh just to get my emails. thats my first quesiton my second question i was thinking about getting a new phone for christmas i have an upgrade and i was thinking about getting the moto razr does anybody have that phone or should i just stick it out and wait for something else? my final question is if i decide to keep the incredible 2 is there anyway i can get the red battery back door instead of the plain old black. thank you guys so much in advance

Hi, welcome to the forums! For your first question, first thing I would check is go to settings> accounts and synch, and make sure background data is enabled. For the second question, you might want to try the RAZR forum and ask around and read some threads to gather some info. It's located here:

For your third question, i'm not sure, you could try the Incredible 2 forum for questions specific to your phone.

thank you so much for the the quick response! i went to the account and settings and my background date got turned off and that fixed it thank you again!

Hi, I have been a forum member for the Dinc-1, but vzw just sent me a re-furb Dinc-2, and I had two quick questions: 1) On the original Inc, I had a widget called "Search People," that was really handy for searches limited to your contacts, and I cannot find it on the Dinc2. Am I missing it? I have looked everywhere to add it to my home screen. 2) Before I send my Dinc1 back to vzw, is there a way to get my ringtones off it? I do have My Backup Pro, but it did not seem to capture them. THANKS for your help!

the dinc2 does not have search people i was bummed when i got the phone and saw they didnt have it either. and i dont think there is a way to get your ring tones back maybe someone else can help you with that one lol

Plug the INC into your PC, drag and drop to PC, plug your INC2 into your PC, drag and drop from PC to INC2.

What did you use People Search for? I just use the dialer to search my contacts.

Obviously, I know how to connect the phone to my PC... I did not see where the ringtones were stored.
