I don't have 4G but I know this; me, my wife, and my friend have 3G and all are having 3G issues today.

I had one of those days at work were you wonder if it can get any worse. I check to see if I can pre-order my nexus, and found out it can get worse. Now my Samsung 4gLTE wifi isn't holding a 4g connection.
I need to just go home and start fresh tomorrow.

Why would he tell us all he has "good news" on a pre-release thread for the Nexus then? What other news would we even care about on here?

It could be next week, it could be next year.

Or it could be tomorrow. Not likely, of course ... but this means that unless there's a problem with the phone hardware (which strikes me as extraordinarily unlikely), everything is ready to launch at any moment. All Verizon has to do is "flip a switch" in their computer system.

All of that stuff that we waited weeks and weeks for ... the first pictures of the LTE version, the first hands-on videos, confirmation of 32GB, leaks of equipment guides and user manuals, shipments to stores, employee training ... all of that stuff is in the past now. The ONLY THING that still has to happen is for someone at Verizon to say "Go."

I called the Corporate Verizon store I spoke with yesterday the one that told me they weren't sure if it was the 8th or 9th, the rep I originally spoke with wasn't at work today so I spoke with another associate, she admitted the the phone was indeed listed in the inventory guide and after some pressure she said it does just say coming soon. She had never seen the 9th must have been changed rather quickly.

So she said but we do have a big meeting scheduled in the morning and we expect to find out something, she said she wasn't sure if it was about the Nexus or another device...

Oh 1 more thing I forgot to mention...this type of meeting usually indicated a launch was coming I asked how soon typically do the phones get released after these meetings she said it varied 1 day sometimes a week.

Long time lurker coming out of hiding! What a great thread full of a lot of really cool people. I can't help myself anymore, I just need to join in.

Yeah, I'm disappointed in delay from what we thought yesterday, but on the bright side it's been a lot of fun tracking this bad boy and good things come to those who wait. So I'm waiting no matter how long...We're close now!!

As per one of my earliest posts today.

I know, they didn't get it from me.

In the case of the LTE outage, I've been tracking Verizon's statements on that since yesterday when I found the Rezound forum confusions on the issue. No doubt DL is going to similar reliable sources on this.

Next up - Verizon customers to have phones by Monday, due to Verizon not changing from Friday or other retail pressures placing sales no later than Saturday.

My personal prediction, no kidding around, for those who missed it earlier.

As I've often said - quite often major news stories are found sourced to the major forums, especially ours.

Stayed tuned for news.
