Slow night here. I am going to meet with Abbey tomorrow morning to pick up my Gnex. I know I'm a bit delusional but I'm going to try. I took the day off of work to get my Gnex. What else do I have to do? I am going to stop at every single Costco, Radio Shack, authorized retailer and corporate store in the Cincinnati area. For those of you that are in the area, stay tuned here. If I hit the jackpot, you will know first so you can go and get yours too.

I made a post earlier this week that my local store rep kept telling me the 11th for a pre-order and available Monday.. He was either guessing or knew something.. If that holds true, I will be shocked.

Well I am disheartened that we are most likely not going to see our precious tomorrow, as well as by the fact that I am a Virginia Tech student and we had another incident this afternoon...ehh. The only glimmer of hope I've had lately is that I get to graduate in 8 days AND I pulled the trick off that got me unlimited data yesterday. Wait, I guess those two things are more than "glimmers"

I'm excited to hear about this. I'm not currently planning on doing the same but I also never thought it would come to me calling 20+ Verizon Corp Stores and Retailers asking when they would be selling the GN. Who knows what one more night will do to me...

Just a quick update for everyone here. I just got off the phone with a two CSRs (I KNOW lol) regarding the 100$ promo that seems to be circulating around here and droid life.
Rep1:
He wasnt too sure about any sort of promotion going around. He asked which 4g phone I was thinking about getting. Naturally I answered I wanted the thunderbolt
, jk I said the nexus. He told me to stop waiting for that phone and just get the razr because it has 4.5 stars and is better than the nexus anyways. Also "It's made of kevlar, so you can basically throw it anywhere and it wont break." I told him I appreciate his enthusiasm, but would prefer to wait till friday since I dont have 250$ in my checking acct right now. I was told I could always order it then pay it off later. He was really aggressively trying to sell me this razr, almost to a point of being rude. After numerous disconnects with him calling back a few times (due to shoddy service with my Eris), the last time it disconnected, he didnt call back.

I called this rep about 5min later using GV on my desktop to make sure that the previous rep didnt sign me up for a razr or anything (I was really dissatisfied with my experience with him and needed to check). Luckily no changes to my account. I was told, however, that the previous NE2 upgrade discounts when they were first instated you would either get 100$ or 50$ depending on your plan. Later on it was changed to either 50$ or 30$, which explains my 50$ discount despite being on a higher end plan. No idea on the nexus as well, he kinda just laughed when i mentioned it and said "you already know the answer to that, we dont know"
So there ya have it folks, no one knows anything about the phones' release. On the other hand I think I narrowed down where those 100$ off promo 3g-4g flyers came from and who they are for. Ill still stop by my store tomorrow morning, if only to say hi to the manager again and see if there's any new hearsay.

Ah so you are one of the few with an appointment that didn't get canceled? If/when you don't receive it tomorrow please make a big deal about it and at least get yourself a discount or something when it does come out!
