Damn, thats a pretty dank team.
I've got:
Eli Manning
Percy Harvin, Colston
Darren Sproles, MJD, McGahee, Demarco Murray
Owen Daniels
Giants/Steelers Defense, and John Kasay

Ouch. That doesn't look like it was a fun fantasy season at all. My team was killer this year, but looked a lot better before last week:

QB - Aaron Rodgers
RB - LeSean McCoy
RB - Matt Forte
WR/RB - Marshawn Lynch
WR - Mike Wallace
WR - Laurant Robinson
TE - Jason Witten
D/ST - 49ers
K - Dan Bailey

Forte hurt, but didn't kill me. Still scored 133 last week.

To fix my RB problem, I moved Lynch to RB and plugged in Michael Crabtree at WR/RB. I also have Beanie Wells on the bench, Mario Manningham who decided to be garbage/hurt so he's benched and Bennett who was great before Cutler was hurt.

My team was stacked this year - I can honestly say I don't think I'll ever get so lucky to have a team as good as the one I had this year.

Text my rep buddy tonight...

"You have in stock, but cannot sell or discuss... correct?"

He text back... "ha ha call me"

He asked me how I know so much ( i just said i had sources...) confirmed that they were getting two in tomorrow. Shipments come in around 1, and although he could not sell it to me.. I was more than welcome to come play with it. I told him I didn't want to get him in any trouble... he assured me it would be fine...

Now I just need a long lunch break!

OT Internet issues...

I know this is all going to sound extremely weird, but this is truly what is happening to me. First off, I am an information systems major, so I like to think I know something about networking/computers in general. Have built a few, done some programming ect. Anyways, so I am living with my sister while in school, and I had to get a wireless USB stick for my desktop. When I bought it a few months ago, all seemed well. Shortly after, I kept trying to load web pages and it would just load...and load...and load. I use Google Chrome and couldn't think off the top of my head what it would be, so I did my own troubleshooting. Started with using IE and Mozilla, clearing cache, history, and cookies, none of which worked. Same thing was happening. So I moved on to trying other internet based applications. I tried Skype and AIM. Both working fine while trying to load web pages. Waitwut....That makes no sense, I know. Internet on everything else, but not while trying to browse the web?? Next step I took was trying to use my sister's wireless laptop. Works perfectly fine for hours without dropping internet at all. Hmmmm...I would say it is an issue with my wireless USB drive I bought, but I keep internet on other applications. Also, I can game on my computer and on Xbox Live (Xbox is also wireless) for hours and not drop internet once. It is only when I browse the web, and it's only on my computer. I know all this may be hard to believe, but this is exactly what is happening. I have many friends in the IT field at businesses, all of them as baffled as me. I actually TeamViewed with a buddy while the web pages were stuck in loading, and he had no clue what was going on.

Any help would be appreciated. Do you know how annoying it is to try and refresh this page in moments when leaks are flying everywhere, and the page just sits there and loads!? :(

You didn't mention the os, but have you made sure you don't have any malware on the computer? Maybe try running combo fix, only download via bleeping computer

Holy crap guys! I haven't been on since around 3 and I come back to an extra 30 pages or so! Geez! What did I miss? (prolly nothing)

*Anyway*

Was on the phone with VZW today and the lady told me that they had delayed the release because of a "Sim Card Compatibility Issue". Whatever the heck that means...I didn't read through the last pages so I'm not sure if anyone has posted about this yet.

When I asked about a demo unit I could try out, I used the ole "my friend's Verizon Store let him play with one" trick. She goes "WHOA! That's a big NO NO! You could get a rep. fired for saying that! Don't go spreading that!"

Well SORRY MISS! I didn't realize the Nexus was a National Secret and that if anyway were to touch it they might unleash the powers of the Ark of the Covenant! Holy smokes man!

OT response:

Sounds like a DNS issue on your computer. I would run an ipconfig on your computer and your sister's laptop. If your DNS addresses match, try using a google DNS server: 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary on your wireless adapters IPv4 settings.

A lot of those stand alone app's have a set of IP addresses that they access directly, which would explain why they're working if you're not able to resolve internet domain names properly.

hope it helps :)

I've been running a couple miles every day for the past month to help me deal with all this stress. Now I'm over 50 miles away from home and don't know what to do. Nothing looks familiar.

Hilarious

sorry verizon, I cannot tell you OFFICIALLY when ill be paying my bill, but it will be soon. stay tuned.

Almost as funny!

So - is the general consensus that I leave this avatar up?

I think it's the best one, but change is good ;)

Who has NOT been able to get their local VZW store to show off their Demo Galaxy Nexus??

2 of the corp stores say they would not and will not (bad tudes!). 1 will. The reseller says they will not be receiving a demo just a dummy phone.

lmao are you serious? He was obviously joking..and besides I do cyber security for a living- besides the fact that were just messing around, you really think VZ is looking and scanning through our AF posts right now? We probably don't even have what it takes to crash a single server deck of verizon's lol

I understand what you are saying and agree that the previous poster was joking. BUT, yes, they do watch our posts. We have had proof in the past.

Heck, even the Pope checks this forum. Didn't you see the article where the pope lit up the Vatican Christmas tree with a Sony Tablet S....and then checked the status of the GN on AF?

You are absolutely correct. I already told everyone that I HAD a Nexus activated today. My name was in the thing as the owner! So I hope people stop doubting the ability to swindle some salesman for a Nexus tomorrow.

It's going to happen. The question is, who's it going to be!

yes, I think your story is a good sign of chinks in the armor, and we may see a break tomorrow

QUESTION!

What's the deal with this choppy 1080P Video I'm seeing on the G-Nexus?

galaxy nexus sample - YouTube

I understand some of it is stability but come on.....I hear the RAZR does the same thing in terms of choppy frame rate.

Will a software update be able to fix these issues? Thanks guys.

I read somewhere that mkv files don't play as well on OMAP processors as they do on Exynos.

Which is disappointing.

Sounds like it could be a DNS issue. Try changing you DNS on your desktop (you'll have to Google how to, cuz it's different depending on OS...)

I really wish the cell phone/carrier landscape was different. More like the european carries where everyone uses GSM and it really doesn't matter what provider you buy your phone in. I imagine even when AT&T comes out with there LTE that they still will be on different standards so you can't use AT&T LTE phones with VZW LTE phones.<snip>

Yes, you do hit a nail. Most of the rest of the world uses GSM, but like you say even if AT&T comes out with a version of LTE, their phones will still be GSM based, unlike alot of Western Hemisphere providers who use CDMA. VZW, USCC, Telus, Pelephone, Vivo, Metro, Cricket, etc.
