ICS Sprint update

Stated from Google, Nexus S users will have update within weeks after the Galaxy Nexus is released. Sprint, T-Mobile and etc don't control the update to Nexus phones. I am sure someone with the technical details can chime in, but the down to earth fact is, unlike other handsets, these are (supposed to be) pure Google phones. I say that, supposed to be, in light of the Wi-Fi hotspot that Sprint interjected on and what Verizon is doing with the Galaxy Nexus. When the new phone comes out, expect to see something within weeks thereafter. Until then, there is no real dates anyone can provide, hearsay isn't going to help either. One good note, is the recent catch on Google+, that Google employees are testing out ICS on Nexus S, so they have already got something in the works, but like my other experiences, I don't want to see a rush, I'd like to see the kinks and issues worked out. Let them be the Guinea pig. Hope for by the end of the year, but don't expect it, I'd be happy seeing in January, to know that they worked out any glitches in the process. But boy would I love to have it before year's end too! My .02
