LOL at any rep claiming that the 4G outage was the cause of the delay. How convenient that the Galaxy Nexus has to be delayed due to the brief outage, but the Droid XYBoard (with 4g) launches right on schedule.

I did not want to say this ,But here it is;
If if the problem is not settled, VZW is going to send the Nexus back to the manufacture and they will be done with it.
I don't see this happening...Verizon has too much at stake.
Verizon would be sending a phone back because they can't block an application due to the provisions of the Bandwidth they bought.
And if Verizon says it's something else...it's Verizon vs. Google/Samsung.
Verizon will take a huge PR hit...they will cave and enable Wallet.

No way. Verizon paid all that money for exclusivity and had it shipped to atore they are not going to lose all that money for nothing.

I was thinking about getting ADW EX but then again, would I use it with the Gnex? Has anyone made up their mind on whether or not to use a launcher? I'll miss a lot of things LauncherPro gives me but I've decided to go with stock for a while once I get the Gnex and see how it works out.

ALSO SamMax, make sure this gets leaked to all the major blogs that you had this phone today, take a picture of the phone ON the 4g network with a date if possible.

We said the same thing for the Nexus One (although admittedly it wasn't an exclusive). Verizon caved and instead asked people to purchase a bloated, updates-from-Verizon Droid variety.

Scott I'm sure it was the same process as buying any other phone... If they had an idea that they weren't supposed to sell it than I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have it...

No kidding. The worst years of my life were spent in Columbus. I took a pay cut in a recession to transfer out of there. I cried when the deal fell through. Luckily, I found a better job down south a few weeks later.

All I figured was, it'll be updated to match/exceed ics launcher capabilities, and if not ten cents for a week or so of use isn't bad.

I would return the phone if the salesperson made a mistake. Jobs are hard to come by, specially in IN. BUT, your in a bargaining position, I'd be walking out wit a boat load of accessories or an upgrade to unlimited MHS....You need an agent? Tell them the local news station is very interested in the first person in the US to purchase a new Nexus......lol
