Obligatory was a lurker, have decided to say hi post.
What's up? This thread has consumed many many hours of my life since its creation, it's only right that I would post. I've been talking about this phone so much, that even my fiancee has admitted to checking here for updates.
It has been a roller coaster, hopefully we will all have our phones soon.

Welcome to our obsession

I did not want to say this ,But here it is;

If if the problem is not settled, VZW is going to send the Nexus back to the manufacture and they will be done with it.:(

I don't see this happening...Verizon has too much at stake.

Verizon would be sending a phone back because they can't block an application due to the provisions of the Bandwidth they bought.

And if Verizon says it's something else...it's Verizon vs. Google/Samsung.

Verizon will take a huge PR hit...they will cave and enable Wallet.

How about these $0.10 apps? ADW EX, SwiftKey, airsync, great little war game. Some fantastic apps. Skipped my morning coffee and picked up a handful of apps.

I was thinking about getting ADW EX but then again, would I use it with the Gnex? Has anyone made up their mind on whether or not to use a launcher? I'll miss a lot of things LauncherPro gives me but I've decided to go with stock for a while once I get the Gnex and see how it works out.

OMG SamMax! Could you tell us what the process of buying a GNex was like? Did they have any idea they weren't supposed to sell?!

Scott I'm sure it was the same process as buying any other phone... If they had an idea that they weren't supposed to sell it than I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have it...

Stop being such a 15 year old :p

It's only $0.10. Might as well buy it anyway.

Yeah, but the weather suxs almost as much as the launch of the Nexus. I need to get somewhere warm.

No kidding. The worst years of my life were spent in Columbus. I took a pay cut in a recession to transfer out of there. I cried when the deal fell through. Luckily, I found a better job down south a few weeks later.

Every time I see someone wearing OSU gear, I want to curl up into a ball and shake violently.

All I figured was, it'll be updated to match/exceed ics launcher capabilities, and if not ten cents for a week or so of use isn't bad.

I realize this is a pretty juvinile suggestion, but perhaps you could offer to return it upon the condition they supply you with the actual revised release date.

I would return the phone if the salesperson made a mistake. Jobs are hard to come by, specially in IN. BUT, your in a bargaining position, I'd be walking out wit a boat load of accessories or an upgrade to unlimited MHS....You need an agent? Tell them the local news station is very interested in the first person in the US to purchase a new Nexus......lol
