Trading Infuse 4g for HTC Evo 3D Opinion?

Do it, I did and haven't regretted it for a second.

The Infuse was my first Android phone and I really enjoyed it but it always felt flimsy. The Evo 3D is the opposite, it feels solid and the performance of the phone itself is fantastic.

Others may disagree, but the 3D thing is fine, but kind is a throw away feature a far as I'm concerned.

Good luck.

Go for it! As for the 3D part, it is there if you want to use it but unless you flip the switch or intentionally view 3D media you don't have to use it if you don't want to. Having said that, I use it more than I thought I would and I am willing to bet you will get it out and show off the 3D aspect at least once! Turns out it is pretty cool. Also, I like the ability to fully mirror the phone's screen on my tv using MHL. It allows you to display 3D content on your 3D tv and if you don't have a 3D tv it will display the 3D content as 2D. I used it to stream the RedZone channel from my DirecTV app onto a friend's tv. You can also use MHL to play games or stream YouTube video onto your tv. It is one of my favorite features of this phone but strangely enough not talked about very much. Good luck!

I was looking to upgrade my three kids phones from Samsung Moments to 3D's with this promo but the "no Activation" is for new lines only and not upgrades. I chatted with the customer service rep but could not get it waived so I passed for now. Still a pretty good deal though and if I was totally warm and fuzzy with my 3D I probably would have done it.

Im debating whether I should trade my Infuse 4G for an HTC Evo 3D. Anyone have any opinions on this before I go through with the trade?

Well you are asking this question in an evo 3d forum and for the most part most of us if not all of us are very passionate about our evo 3d's so therefore any opinion on it would be very subjective at best. We are all different and we value things differently, so I will say this, just drop by any sprint store and play with one to get a feel for it and to see if you will like it. Personally though, I really like my evo 3d its an excellent phone to own and I wouldn't trade it for anything thats currently out.

Lol, the muffinman makes a very good point! And fwiw, the so-called pro reviewers were very lukewarm about this phone. I understand why you would want to get the opinions of those who actually own one. The best thing to do is visit a store and try one out for yourself. If I had gone with what the pros had said just prior to launch, I never would have gotten one! I did take a bit of a gamble because I pre-ordered and there were no actual owners to ask at that time and there weren't any instore devices to mess with. I am glad I read all I could about the specs and ignored the "3D is gimmicky" reviews and decided for myself :D

Thank you all for your wise posts and recommendations.

True this is a pro 3D forum so many will praise it. It is up to the OP to take this info along with other relevant info off the interwebs and head into a local sprint shop as others have suggested and smoke over one in person. Only then can you know if the 3D is for you. Location, signal strength in your area are also factors to consider.

Follow up with the class OP once you have decided on what to do. For now, I think the point has been made as to which one these lovely ladies and gents recommend.. ;-)

Biggest thing to consider & I believe you're currently on AT&T, unlimited data. (hopefully Sprint service is good in your area) I use so much data I often feel I'm abusing it. ESPN, Netflix & Crackle takes away from most of my production at work. Also, they all stream flawlessly on 3G with the occasional hiccup from ESPN. Then again, you can get that with any Sprint phone, just feel this one is better than the rest.
