*Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread

My HTC thunderbolt charger puts out 1A and it charges my extended battery really fast. 850ma shouldn't be too bad, I bought Motorola chargers for extra ones cause they were so cheap off amazon and they charge my thunderbolt just as fast as he OEM one.

Well since multiple people are coming out of the woodwork that managed to pick up the phone, I will too. I am the guy who posted pictures of the dogs and had my Bud Light a little too close to the phone for one guy haha.

Anyway, I wanted to post a few more pictures, including a comparison between my roommates iPhone 4S and another video that shows the quality while I was walking and then standing and holding it as still as I could. I also tested out the digital zoom so you can see how that is.

I am still running 4.0.1, haven't received any upgrade. I have made an interesting observation, it takes approx 1 second (probably just a bit less) for the multitasker to load after you press the button. That is the only thing I have noticed that doesn't respond the second you press it/swipe it. Everything else is like butter.

anyone have the phone feel comfortable setting up wireshark or even letting me remote into their pc and doing it?

Well just hanging out with the kids today. My wife went shopping. I am going to have to send vzw an email about the $100 off, because my area just got 4G also. If you ask me, it sounds like Verizon is targeting areas that AT&T are coming into lte though if Chicago was the targeted area.

SCOTT!! no no no no no no no no! Take a step back!! How are you going to feel in ..i dont know, january when we all have the nexus and you're stuck with a razor for two years? Just wait it out with us!! you will NOT be disappointed when it comes out and if you don't have it by Saturday just put your phone in your pocket and try not to think about it all day, haha. But really, you need to keep going with us. Do it for us, scott, for US. It's two years scott. two years with the razor or a nexus. why would you chose a razor? It's probably an awesome phone but NEXUS, SCOTT. NEXUS. Don't pull a move youre going to regret! Whats another 5 days? Or even...two weeks i that's what it takes. It's for two years! PLEASE SCOTT!

Thanks for the pics and vids. Which photos to you are the more realistic in terms of actual color - the iPhone or the Galaxy Nexus? The colors are brighter in the iPhone pics, but from what I'ver heard from comparisons the colors are enhanced and aren't "realistic".

Anyone who has gotten one, is the 2,150 battery able to fit with the standard cover? I have a tpu case and I want to know if it will fit.

Seems like the video "bends" during a pan, like it is trying to correct for the movement. This HAS to be software related and hopefully can be fixed.

I will be honest, this week is probably the last one for me too. I don't want another phone, and my thunderbolt is running fine, and two weeks of family time, my interest in the phone will definitely wane quickly if I am distracted. Plus I really would like to be done with verizon's crap. I just cant deal with the stress anymore.

IIRC, the 2150 battery comes with a different back but it doesn't add much thickness and just makes the back all the same thickness. The tpu case reportedly fits well so you should be good to go!

How's the LTE performance (and signal strength in general) and visibilty of the screen outdoors ? Btw the iphone camera looks better but both phones seem to have very limited dynamic range.

@Dazedniteman - I have the exact same sony surround tuner lol... that thing is like 10 years old, i still have the original speakers and subwoofer.
