Ok so with the help of android forums I have successfully put Reppards CM7, GNM recovery and Flashed Dark Tremors and My phone works Great I ran my Quadrant score and it was ok it didn't break 1000 but it is still a better phone than before. Where do i go from here I am a NOOB and didnt know if there is really anything left I like playing games on it and wanna maximize battery life. I am open to any and all suggestions.

Start by performing a nand backup of everything, including your ext partition.

Juice Defender is a great app to help maximize battery life. I paid for it, but from what I gather, the free version works well also.

QQPlayer is one of my must have apps. It allows for wmv and avi format movies to be played.

I don't have a link right now, but flash 11 has been ported to work for our CPU in our phones, and it works well. Search it out. (Still wont show flash enabled apps in market. Also doesn't work with Opera Mini.)

Go get an Amazon account and attach it to a legit credit/debit card if you haven't already. Then go get the Amazon App Store and enjoy one free paid-for app a day. ;)

Search out themes!!!

Hope this helps.

I have Overclocked it and am stable at 748 and then ran my quadrant. Ill have to try out juice defender for sure for the battery. I am kinda torn when it comes down to ROM's i guess it the fact that i want everything to work well and not have alot of bugs and kinda waiting on a good ICS ROM to come out.

Heres what I did when I first started.

Flashed CM7 to my Ascend. Set everything up and then got bored within a week. Broke it on purpose just so I could fix it. Then started playing in the system folders and such adding the V6supercharger. Got that down pat. Started playing in the build prop. Started editing stuff and adding edit. Got obessed with editing and tweaking things to be the first person ever to break the 1000 mark in Antutu with a Huawei Ascend. Which I was successful at doing. Broke 1000 with 1002 (I was oc'd at 729mhz and was out scoring the guys running at 748) Ended up after playing with it some more hit a 1026 for my all time high. Got bored with that started downloading all of PlayfulGod's, BobZhomes, and Issacj87 roms and started extracting them on my comp and swapping things out and removing things I never used. Got bored with that and went on a mission to hard brick my ascend (It is COMPLETELY impossible to brick an Ascend) I flashed Optimus roms on it, HTC roms, Ascend II roms, and countless more. Then I found my new love of my life. The beast they call an Esteem. :D And the Ascend turned into a functional Android paper weight on my desk. Ahaha The little bastard just would not die even after purposely trying to brick it and is still kicking till this day.
