Good Morning Gnexers!

One Day!

One Day CLOSER to whenever Verizon releases our beloved Nexi to us!
(Unless they keep moving the target date on us)

Let's all play nice today (and keep our Mods happy) as we keep each other company during the Great Wait...

Well technically wouldn't we be getting one day closer regardless of whether or not they move the date?... lol trying to keep positive here!

I'm not quite sure what the difference is... When I login to VZW and I look at the upgrade status for my devices (I have 5 lines), it shows the following for one of my lines:

Upgrade Available on 06/20/11
Upgrade at a discounted price

Discounted price means your eligible to upgrade at 2 year contract pricing with no loyalty discount.
and upgrade available on means thats the day your eligible for upgrade pricing this is when you should be getting an loyalty discount

Understood. But both were listed under the same device/line....

We'll see something today I bet. Rumors will fly. I have no basis for this, but this is another supposed launch week with less than 4 days till supposed launch.

Well, last week we found out it was delayed 2 days before the supposed launch. That's why I'm betting we'll hear tomorrow that it's been pushed back another week.

Go Morning my friends! I'm keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that today is announcement day!

Sushi lovers know what maguro and toro are - different cuts of tuna. :)
All the hamburger debate over the weekend was fun, but sushi is a topic I can really sink my teeth into!

Hypothetical question, if for some God awful reason Verizon scrapped the Nexus, what would you get? Or would you wait to see what else is coming?
I'd be buying the Rezound so quick it'd make your head spin.

Semi-OT: Is there any reason NOT to use Radioshak for an upgrade? From speaking with them it doesn't seem so, but...

Thnx :)

I bought a phone for my wife a couple years ago through Radio Shack when we had service with AT&T. Got fed up with the AT&T service in our area about a year later and we finally decided to cancel our contract based on that. AT&T let us out of our ETF fees due to the poor service but about 2 months later we got a letter in the mail stating that we owed $200+ to the company that Radio Shack does their wireless sales through. They said that in the contract we "signed" that we agreed to the terms that we would have to pay a termination fee with them if we ended service with AT&T before a certain number of months and we had ended it 2 weeks shy of that "agreement". We finally fought back with them enough that they dropped it, only to have a collection agency start bugging us a couple of months later. Took us about 6 months and many BBB complaints and calls to upper execs to finally get everything cleared up.

Other than that, I don't know of any reason not to, and probably will use RS this time because I see no reason we would be cancelling out Verizon service.

Man, you really are a debbie downer. You've been saying this kind of stuff for weeks...

Unfortunately, @truelove79 has been right so far... It really is a bummer.
