Just called 4 Radio Shacks on Staten Island and none even had a date for the device except possibly Friday.
None would entertain selling me the device.

No offense toward the OP one but, but it's just that the thread title suggests that Radio Shack has the device and is now selling normally, and not that the OP got lucky and an employee managed to get one, not fully functional, into his hands.

It is fully functional. Where did you get that from?
Back up, my Android friend. I absolutely did get a receipt that shows I purchased this phone, although they had to hand write what I purchased and I made them initial it. I just need to come back on 12.15 to get the complete Verizon receipt.
OK, the title is bad because RS is not selling the phone. You scammed/conned/preyed on the cs rep's stupidity to sell you something that shouldn't have been sold.
Congrats to you to fall into such a sweet opportunity.
Completely not true. RS is selling them, at the very least, in the NY district. As approved by a District Manager. They were completely open about selling it. Nothing below the table. It's not the only store that will sell it.
'Radio Shack is now selling the Galaxy Nexus.' Completely true.
If they were "selling them" you wouldn't have had to go to the ATM and pay in cash and would have gotten a real receipt. You found some sucker to do something they were not supposed to do. Lets hope no one loses their job over it.
I called a few RadioShacks and I found one that was going sell me one. Went there, and found out they don't honor annual upgrades He showed me the phone, and everything only have my dreams crushed. Seems Verizon stores can only process annual upgrades.

I got it from your "I can make a phone call. But I cannot access the web."
Would you mind if I changed the topic title to something like, "I managed to get a Nexus at Radio Shack!"?
