IMO I would get a used fruit phone, it makes a great camera and media player and are well integrated over there.

Ack, maybe your right. To be honest, I've been using a garbage free phone for years, and I just wanted to have something nice to play with finally. Maybe I'll go the route where I purchase a camera and mp3 player and worry about the phone later. How freakin anticlimactic

I would buy the rezound if it was unlocked or if i really thought it would be unlocked soon.. sadly I don't put much faith in evil_@@@_null . he seems a little unstable based on his tweeting and he seems to have been just about there for the last 3 weeks.

But that being said he could also be brilliant and acutally be just about there... either way waiting for S=off on the rezound is like waiting for the gnex except when I get the gnex i also get ics... that has been keeping me from the rezound ... (and the fact that miui on my TB is totally awesome).

and of course just to echo the majority of the others i called 3 radio shacks, sams club, verizon wireless corp and non-corp stores and got the same don't know when it is coming out... this was yesterday...

on another note I am getting a nexus on thursday... (maybe not a lte one)...

Disclaimer: If this turns out to be false, I'm shaving my head and driving to Mexico immediately there will be no need to hate me.

Just asked my rep if there was anyway I was going to be able to pick one up before I left town on Thursday (15th).

His response: "Oh yeah man, we have about 40 phones. You can come pick it up ASAP Thursday morning before you leave town."

Asked him if the 15th was confirmed and he said it was. Like I said, FWIW but he wasn't even this confident about the 9th.

Also, he confirmed (using one as his personal I bet) that the speaker is night and day compared to the RAZR meaning it's weak. Being that I never use the speaker I couldn't care less, but I thought I'd pass it on.

Oh I agree 100%, and like I said I'm not holding my breath. But, I will say that the fact that he called me and seemed positive that Thursday is the day, and actually made an appointment seemed like some good news. Just passing it on....I m remaining optimistic that this is happening at 9am on Thursday....

I didn't even mention getting/seeing the flyer. I simply call and ask about the promotion. No CSR has given me a bit of trouble about it either. I am straight forward / honest with the CSR and they seem to return the favor.

She put me on mute for a minute as she looked up the promotion. She then found it and notated my account that I was approved for it (only can be applied at purchase). I inquired how the store rep would see the discount and she said the store sales person would have to check the notes on the account since they have access to the same system/notes she was composing.

I did the above yesterday, and redid it again today to verify it was noted. Worked first time both calls.

or if you don't want a fruit phone you could get a tmobile nexus s 4g.. these are going for $199 on ebay and will work great in europe.

then just get a sim over there and you are good to go.. plus you will be able to put ics on the nexus very soon...

There's an old saying about cameras - the best camera is the one you have with you when you need it - the worst camera is the fancy kit you don't have when the moment comes.

The latest HTCs have undergone a generational update in their camera software, first in many years, and I think the results are outstanding (I'm enjoying a port of it over to my older HTC dual core).

The net/net is that your account would be flagged as eligible if you were a target of the promo.
