Completely OT:

I'm excited so I have to report this somewhere, and since I've been interacting with you guys pretty much non-stop for a while now I'm reporting it here. I am officially DONE with school. All assignments in, finals done, and graduation is on Friday. I have my glass of wine in hand ready to toast any other soon-to-be graduates and even those just ending a semester. Here's to being done! \(^_^)/

Congrats man. One semester to go for me.

I've already been approved for the 100$ on my main line which im upgrading from a Dinc to Nexus.

Thank you! I had called and was denied, but after reading this I tried again. The CSR found it right away and then put a mock order through to see what would happen. It didn't apply it, so she said I would have to bring the mailer with me, but that she did note it on the account. Not holding my breath, but maybe I'll be ok since she did note it in the account. *fingers crossed*

I just got off the phone with a very kind CSR who got off the phone for 15 minutes trying to find whatever she could about the promotion. I'm from New York and coming from a non android (embarrassed to admit I have Rogue) She said even with that code neither she or promotions found anything BUT they are giving me one month free for whatever reason. I remember telling them several mOnths ago I was going to Sprint and they offered that to me...so I'm happy...now just give me the damn phone.

Hi Everyone,

I just got an email from my super duper credible source who is very high up in Verizon. He was not able to give me any specifics regarding the launch date, however, he WAS able to tell me why it has been delayed.

Apparently Verizon doesn't feel that their brand on the Galaxy Nexus is clearly displayed nor easily identified as a "Verizon device". They have decided to update the back of the phone/battery cover to make it more "Verizony". Below is the updated back.

If this thing truly drops on Thursday, it better sell like crap in my neck of the woods. I'm going to be on the road all day Thursday and I don't have an appointment until Friday a.m. They wouldn't set one aside, nor would they agree to take my credit card number over the phone on Thursday if/when it releases and then allow me to come in for the activation the next day. Grr. I'll be very upset after this long wait to not have a weekend to mess around with it while everyone else is having fun! Ha...
