He gave me a weird look and said get off my lap you tool i have no control over verizon. I don't know if i should believe this guy i think he could be an imposter. His beard looked fake!

From what I understand, quad cores on mobile devices aren't about having 4 monster cores, but rather having more efficient use of the processor in addition to having a low power consumption core.

If there are any problems with this phone, please understand that we tried to interfere with the Nexus process and all issues are our fault. We had to release the phone so that our public image doesn't get any worse than it already is (could it?). If you should have any problems please feel free to root and load a custom ROM that is a truly Nexus image and doesn't contain our bugs.
We're sorry we delayed the phone when Google clearly had it ready for the masses. Please forgive our stupidity and accept this $100 credit since the value of your phone has decreased in the last month due to it aging in our stock rooms and warehouses. We are still going to charge you full price for the device while we reduce the cost of our other phones that released when the Nexus should have, but we still really think that this is your fault for not buying inferior devices when we gave you the chance.
We look forward to screwing you over when your next upgrade rolls around, but until then we have other eligible suckers to mess with. Hint: They think we're getting the Galaxy S III. Hahaha.

Anyone know where else I can get one?...I wanted the ultra crystal but it looks like they don't make it for the GNex...I don't want the new flex one because it's a wet application..that leaves the oleophobic (sounds like a disease) screen protector. Just another "FWIW" post. Went into my local corporate yesterday. 4 employees, 1 manager. Right away I mentioned that I was lookin for info on the Nexus and the manager chimed in after everybody immediately stared at him haha. He said "well, we don't have a an official release date, we can take your name and number, BUT, if I was looking for a Nexus I would probably be here Thursday morning at 9 a.m.... Then he let me violate a demo unit for a minute. Thing felt great, coming from my OG. They were doing an OTA update at first and in my haste I didn't check the version afterwards, so I don't know if it was the initial OTA or something new.

Needless to say, at this point i'm taking Thursday morning off.

Haha, I am not uncalm yet. But like I said, so far, the first poster who had a rumor of a delay has been right 7 out of 7 times now. All the rumors in the world don't equal fact. It will release when Verizon decides to release it. I still hope for the 15th, but what started out as one rumor last week, (of which I remember distinctly posting "I don't buy it") became fact as the info started pouring in after stores open and people called to check on their appts. It is getting to that time now, so we shall see.

He's a good guy and wouldn't lie about this as he's excited for the Nexus, too. Here's hoping we can buy bright and early on Thursday morning.
