Help Software Update for the T-Mobile Motorola CHARM

Hi

I am new & happy Motorola Charm User, Sameer from Jersey City, NJ, USA.

I have unlocked Charm, its showing update 3.90.7 is available for download. Can i install this upgrade without problem ?
OR
Will it lock my phone again ?

I am using it with Simple Mobile, with all functional including 3G data access without problem, hoping this upgrade wont screw up things...

Please advice if any one already tried..

I had purchased an unlocked Charm Bronze from NewEgg a couple months ago. It has the T-Mobile logo on it, but I use it on AT&T Wireless.


I took a risk and updated to version 3.90.7. I have confirmed, it does not lock your unlocked phone. Feel free to update. I still get the invalid 10 digit sim text message from the tmobile server, but all else is working perfectly. I plan on switching to Simple Mobile soon with this phone. Hopefully I will have no issues.

Before you update, make sure you sync your contacts. Keep your wifi on if possible and do not switch or remove your current SIM card. Also make sure you have enough battery or leave it plugged into the charger.
