Root Cannot install Liberty 3.0 after multiple tries

Ive had awful problems with MIUI... force closes, camera doesnt work, battery sucks.. so I decided to flash Liberty 3.0. The problem is no matter how many times I download the file (version 1.0 and 2.0) I cannot get them to install. Ive read the instructions over and over to make sure Im following them correctly.. Ive flashed what seems like 100 roms on my phone so Im no stranger to the process. On top of that my phone will not create a nandroid backup.. it gets to the very end but will not create the md5 sum. Ive attempted to install version 1.0 and 2.0 at least 3 times each and have to sbf everytime because it wont backup or restore... Any thoughts? Is it possible that my phone has been flashed and sbf'd so many times that it just wont hardly work anymore? I tried installing from Rom Toolbox and Rom Manager as well and neither work. Thanks!

Make sure the md5 is correct for the version you are downloading. I had an issue with my X getting stuck at the M logo when loading 2.0 due to the download being currupt and the md5 not matching.

I just uploaded the one good download I got to mediafire and downloaded it to test it, and I got the same MD5. Here it is you want it:

Side Note:
Your installs are failing because your MD5 sums aren't matching, which means you are not getting complete downloads of the file.

I got the "invalid battery" error. I attempted to sbf it after receiving the error just in the hope that it might fix it.. it didnt. I assume a new battery could have solved the problem but I called verizon anyway. Unbeknownst to me it was still under warranty and they had no problem replacing it. I was surprised at how willing they were to do so.
