Got my Gnex today as expected. Ill talk a little more about it when Im done rooting it. This thing feels so good in the hand its amazing, almost space age. Very good construction.

I know the Joliet store has them. A guy there has my number. He said they have plenty in stock a few days ago. I thought about calling tomorrow night to make sure I can be there in the morning to pick one up on Thursday. Just giving you some info.

I know this is late but please don't apologize. At least in my opinion you did nothing wrong. At all.
Unfortunately it's too late for me to preorder since I'm leaving town tomorrow. I was really hoping there would be a very, very soft Wednesday release so I could pick up the phone on the way to the airport. Not likely.
As it is Thursday morning I have a flight that leaves at 10:40. If they do release it Thursday I'm pretty sure I can be in and out of a nearby Radio Shack in time to make my flight. (Especially since the plane can't leave without me.)
Why can I picture you strolling through the airport with your new Nexus whispering "I'm not rushing, Verizon made me wait and I was fine. They can all wait while I admire my new toy"
I just figured out why so many flights are delayed!! You guys run errands first! Lol. J/K

I just called my local Verizon Corp store to ask if I need to reserve a SGN for Thursday. I told him that I know it was just a rumor, but I just wanted to know if it is first come first serve. He told me I would have to wait a little longer and it will be first come first serve. I am hoping it is still Thursday since a lot of evidence to pointing to that as being the release date.

Plasma's are great for a movie theater like setting, but for watching casual TV, LED's are far more energy efficient and better in higher light settings.

OT TV Talk
I got a 56" Sharp Quattron over the summer, and I'm loving it, especially considering the relatively cheap price tag. Picture quality is phenomenal. Not surprisingly, it beats the crap out of my 6 year old Hitachi plasma (which was almost 5 times as expensive in its time)

Thanks alot for the info.. Yes, I am on unlimited data and I thought this would occur. If the Nexus does not come out Thursday I'm going to go to Verizon to see what they say; if this problem occurs...(Hopefully not)

In fact, this little back and forth with JBQ is probably the biggest piece of news to me. Updates from Google was never in question, but inclusion into AOSP is big news.
