So the nexus "should" be $649 full retail at Verizon right?

I ask because i can get one now at radio shack for $799. The guy said come on down again after i called again today.

If Verizon's is $799 then it's a no brainer to just go get it now, but i am pretty sure it will be $649 at Verizon's as is usually always the case.

What got me thinking though is that the razr is now $700 and not the $649 it started out to be...

If the guy told you over the phone "yeah we can sell you one", my suggestion is don't even bother going down there anyways. It's happened to too many people; they get there and they're about to pay but the SKU doesn't show up in the system and everything needs to be reversed.

Also, not worth it for $799 because it's not going to go for that much at full retail. The guy's trying to scam you

It's no scam...that's how much best buys charging and that's how much they aways do on new releases when Verizon chargers $649.

I am buying outright, all he has to do is override it and put the price in manually....it's been done millions of times on phones before. They don't technically need the ski, if the manager is there they will just override it.

I'll just wait to tomorrow and see what appens though. We should have some announcement shortly

sounds like a rip off to me too. These should be 649 or maybe 629 retail. paying 799 is wasting money IMO

It's going to be $649, you can see it on the card at the bottom by full retail price

$649.99, just go to Best Buy and make them price match Verizon the day it releases. Do not pay $799 for not being able to wait a day.
