Personally, I'm not trying to wait even a minute longer than I'd need to to have this phone. I feel like I've waited an eternity and if I'm able to have it at 8 or 9 AM on Thursday morning, well than that's what I'll do. If for some reason a pre-order would get it to me before I could get it from the store, then I'm all for it. I just don't see that being the case.

Same here. I'm just gonna walk in and buy it on Thursday. Assuming it's released by then.

I'm honestly getting nervous. Not for any reason in particular, but just thinking of what it'd be like to find out it's delayed AGAIN. Uuughh... makes my stomach turn just thinking about it. I've never been so emotionally invested in the process of buying a phone. I've actually never wanted a phone before it was released. I bought my Droid X the day it was released, but that was just coincidence.

LOL actually.. i had quite a journey trying to get the iphone 4s too! ultimately though, it was verizon making the decision for me (as always

i have a sizeable monthly vzw discount from my ugrad alma mater but vzw wouldn't let me use it on the iphone. it's an "iconic" device so no outside discounts are eligible for that phone.
being a poor alum, i can't afford vzw's plans w/out the discount so.. i'm essentially stuck waiting for the nexus

i wish i could switch carriers but only vzw's reception works well in the hospital.

tl;dr: i'm enslaved to vzw to wait for the nexus.

I am getting such a backlog of apps on the market, bookmarked on my laptop, waiting for the SGN. I cannot wait to upgrade from 256 MB of internal space on my droid. I also have been uninstalling the 10 cent app after the refund period has passed to save space.

So are we going to break the 2,000,000 view mark this Wednesday?

You should have seen the thread where the og incredible users were waiting for the froyo update. After that thread I've learned to take EVERY leak, no matter how credible, with a grain of salt. I am excited as heck about this phone, but I'm not letting it get to me like the froyo update for the Inc did lol.

It's for sure. Check on around page 1200(guestimate) of this forum to see the convo we had about it.

Haha I can understand that. I was totally bummed about the Dec9th incident. I had already gotten on eBay and sold my Droid X and my original Moto Droid... luckily the buyer agreed to hold off shipment of the phones until I was able to get my nexus... but it took a toll on me. The bad part about that is that the leaks were true... and still I didn't have my phone on the 9th. Ughhhhh... reliving it sucks, lol.

ugh.. i was scared this was going to happen. i tried doing a search on this forum for any information but i couldn't find anything so my fears were quelled. how foolish.
