I'm from California, but have been living in NYC for more than 6 years now. People here in general are grumpy, not just VZW store employees. I just don't get what's up with NY people.

So I called that guy from the VP's office yesterday to try and confirm that it's coming tomorrow, and he said, "I hope so, I want this phone, too."

Anywho, he said that the $50 discount he promised me would be applied only upon receipt of their precious Dinc2, and it would be an account credit.
Argh. Not that I wanted to keep the thing, but still. Was looking forward to paying only $150 at the register.

Apple has never had to advertise their phones that much once they caught on.
As far as the RAZR I can't say they are pushing it anymore than they pushed the Bionic in the beginning.. The reason why the Bionic ad campaign was cut short is because a lot of the phone had bad radios to the point that some Third Party sellers wouldn't agree to see it.
Personally Im more peeved looking at SII ads about waiting in lines than I am about DROID ads. DROID ads look like they were made to appeal to 16 year olds that drink mountain do and wear AXE Body Spray.

I may or may not use my TPU case. I just ordered it as a pacifier to hold me over until I got the real deal. I figured for less than $10 including shipping how could I go wrong?

acetone on plastic = bad idea and dont touch it with goo gone or any of that stuff either it will melt the plastic ( most likely) or at least fade and discolor the area you put it on.
