I called Customer Service at Amazon Wireless to ask if they will have the SGN tomorrow and if so at what price. Unfortunately, the kind CSR said they don't recieve any advanced information. They will not know until it shows up on the web site. Gotta just keep checking the web site tomorrow.

I would like to thank everyone here for sharing my interest in the GNex and for giving me so many hours of entertainment the past weeks! Can't wait to get my hands on one tomorrow and I hope everyone enjoys theirs!
Also, FWIW, I called my local VZW corp store after it was announced and here's how it went (I'm paraphrasing):
Me: So you will have the Galaxy Nexus tomorrow?
VZW: No, sir, we don't have a date for it yet.
Me: Verizon just announced it in a press release.
VZW: I don't think so, sir.
Me: With all due respect, you're wrong.
VZW: Hang on a minute...yes, you're actually right, we just got an email about it. I apologize for giving you the wrong information.
She was very nice and put my name on a phone for tomorrow. I guess this didn't teach me anything, as she could have been lying about not knowing, but I really got the feeling she truly didn't know.
What a weird release, but I'm glad it's finally here!
Also, FWIW, I called my local VZW corp store after it was announced and here's how it went (I'm paraphrasing):

I do not call CSR reps or stores because I don't care what they know or don't know. I am on a VZ employees plan so we can't buy from retail stores anyway. I do use my three tech support sources two of them being family members and one being a long time family friend for info about the release of the Nexus.
I can tell you that two of the three are at my house right now and one is at VZ working. One of them at the house is part of a tech support team who is given the newest phones and special training when they first come out...he got the Razr the day before the release, he told me earlier today that he was getting his Nexus tomorrow at work during his special Nexus training class. He said that this indicated to him from previous experience that the phone would be release tomorrow or Friday.
Then 20 min. ago I received a text from the family member who is at work, this text included an image of an email that she just now received in her VZ employees email account. This email I will NOT post because this person asked me not to and I will respect their wishes.
The email has an executives name and indicates he posted an announcement to the Verizon Wireless Network on Yammer. It states...
"Its official Tomorrows the day. Samsung Galaxy Nexus launches Thursday Dec. 15th. For more information see VZWeb and then some intra web addresses to the official information within their system.
I will say again this just came across the VZ employee web mail system less than 30 min. ago!

I got to ninja my local corporate store. Not 10 minutes before the announcement, I called and they said the release was pushed back
Now, after I saw the PR, I called back (got someone different on the phone though) and asked again. Same answer - they said it was pushed back. I mentioned the press release, so the lady talks to someone, comes back and says, "Yup, it was JUST released, we'll be selling them tomorrow!"
