Been trying to convince a store to give it to me at closing tonight. What is wrong with me that I have to have it 12 hours early? :eek:

Just got back from my corp. Verizon store, the manager said that phones are being shipped overnight. He took my # and told me he'd call as soon as they come in.

Why would Verizon announce it during EST business hours? They're even late to that. Oh well.

I could not be more excited for this phone. I've already visited a couple Verizon stores to try and get some hands on time with it - both of which said it hasn't been announced so we can't show it to you (?) - but of course to no avail. I've never felt this way about a piece of technology, and I'm not sure I ever want to again. But I'm glad you all were here for support. I'm gonna miss all of you.

At least until we all migrate to the Lounge.

Such a newb question but I've never had an Android smartphone before, so what's the point of unlocking the bootloader and rooting? And what's the difference between those two?

That settles it - I am leaving work before the first store opens tomorrow. I go in at 7:00, and I found a store that opens at 8:00. Oh yeah!!

Maybe I should just go in late, or not go in at all
