LMAO regarding MW3 - my buddy and I are totally hooked on coop and survivor mode. We sneak time in whenever his infant son and my daughter are down for the night.

And teachers are totally under-recognized for what they do and what assets they are to the community. My mom was a teacher for +40 years in the same school if you can believe it and took a well deserved retirement last year.

I totally agree - it's really going to be truly tough to top this thread in terms of quality and collegiality. Steven, OTD, and EarlyMon probably will want to take a vacation for a while...

Laid in bed from 9pm until shortly after 1am last night until I finally fell asleep.

I decided to wait a few weeks to root (if I can resist). This way I can make sure there is nothing wrong with the phone that would make me want to return it. That would save me the whole un-root/re-lock hassle. Besides that will give me another hour or two of enjoyment once I am bored with staring at the phone in amazement.

Substitute multiplayer for coop and this is exactly what my buddy and I do most nights. I get the same text from him at around 8 o'clock at night... "hopping on when you get the kiddo down?" Haha, see this is exactly what I mean about this thread. Good stuff.

And thank you for the teacher comment. And a serious congrats to your mom. She's earned it.

Talk about being a newb - I get royally thrashed on multiplayer of any game. Seems the young 'uns have faster reflexes and better coordination than me. :eek:

T-minus 2 and a half hours until I (finally) get my hands on this beautiful beast!

I'm heading out in a minute. Getting mine from the downtown Pittsburgh corporate store. They open at 8 so I shouldn't even be late getting to work this morning! The woman I talked to late yesterday said they would hold one for me since I was the first person to call after the official announcement.

Using a rent-a-razr right now, so wish me luck that they don't give me any hassle over my exchange!

Good luck with the exchange - I have a rent-a-rezound that I got when switching over from T-mobile and wanted to lock in double-data. I think it'll be easy enough - just remember to take your receipt in case the CSR gives you any funny business about the exchange.

Good luck! It's dead in Cranberry. I have one being held for me at RadioShack, but VZW wouldn't hold it. I still have two hours and 15 mins to go, so I'm really hoping other ppl show up!
