Password Problem with Samsung Note (HELP)

I posted this in the Samsung Note section as well but I was hoping someone in the main section may also know the answer to my problem? Thanks.

I hope someone can help me because I am pulling my hair out. I have the Samsung Note and I really enjoy the phone/tablet but I am having a problem with the password.

I use the phone with my Corporate email just like I have in the past with my iPHONE4 and Windows Tilt2. I am in sales and I use the phone constantly and the phone password keeps popping up constantly...and I do mean constantly. I set the settings on the password at 10 minutes which is the max that Android lets you but I can use the phone then hang up and then the system requires I need to enter the password again before making another phone call or maybe I set the phone down for 2 minutes and pick it back up again but I have to enter a password again. The system ignores the 10 minute setting I have....it requires the password sometimes after 30 seconds to 1 minute....it's a constant problem as you can imagine.

This is driving me nuts and it's not safe since I am in the car much of the time when I have to do this. The password that Samsung requires is nothing like my iPHONE4 did which was reasonably simple 4 digit but Samsung requires a much longer password with a different array of characters.

Before you think it is my IT please note I did check with one of the other guys in my office that has a HTC Android and his password is similar to the set up to my old iPHONE4. My password on my iPAD is simple and it is tied to the Corporate email server so it has to be something tied to the Samsung Note?

Any ideas? Anyone also have this problem and they were able to solve it? This is driving me nuts not to mention it is unsafe do to being in the car constantly having to fight this.

Thanks for your response.

Thanks for your reply but the problem I am having is that the samsung note requires your password to have Letters,Numbers and Symbols and all this is hard to do by one hand while in the car plus the password re-locks way under 10 minutes....sometimes in 30 seconds.

Could this be the security policy set by your corporate Exchange server? If yours is an Exchange account, go to Account settings, Exchange ActiveSync settings, Security Options, and Security policy list. Your company may have set "Require an alphanumeric password" and "Require sign-in after the device has been inactive for x minutes."
