Root [ROM ]--CHARITY--Smoked Glass Themed Version 12 !! Gingerbread 2.3.4

OK probably a totally newb question but just updated to 12.7 from 11 and I no longer have a top portion that has the time, signal str, 3g/1x new messages all that stuff did I screw something up? or is there some setting I just need to change or was that removed with gingerbread or the version 12.x?

I would say you messed something up as mine is still there on this 12.7 rom.

I'm really looking to squeeze a bit more time out of my OG droidie ( until the Galaxy Nexus comes down in price) and your ROM works so well for me.

I'm hoping that since school is almost over you'll be sending out an update for Christmas?

Hi, I loaded the rom 12.7 and was running great for about 30 minutes. I had it plugged in to my computer the entire time. After a while of idleing, my phone began to reboot itself, and has been doing that over and over. I pulled the battery and it boot to the lock screen and then reboots agian.
What should i do.

I wipe everything this time and re-install the rom. I guess I just have to wait to see if i get the same problem.

Also, the power widgit is blank, how would i get it to show up?

Damn it's been 4 months. I hope there isn't a new thread and I'm wasting my time checking back here?

I'll be getting the Droid Razr Maxx soon and will be holding onto my OG Droid, hopefully you'll be able to work out the bugs for this ROM people have been having soon.

Still my favorite ROM, I plan on seeing how it plays with the Razr.

Just installed, went smoothly, ran for about an hour, then got stuck in a boot loop.
Any suggestions?

This rom that you have installed, will not work very well with the "Pattern" screen lock. You have to change back to the default screen lock in order for you to be able to use this rom.

If you are unable, to get past the bootlooping, you will want to restore back to your previous ROM, turn off your "Pattern" screen lock and use the "Default" screen lock, then install the ROM again.

Other than the bootlooping, the rom works very well, it's quick, and it does save some battery.

I have since upgraded to a Droid RAZR, but I keep my old Droid around just for playing around with roms and such. Good Luck.
