I emailed Seidio with a few questions and here are the answers.

They do not currently plan on making a Rugged case/holster for the Nexus (their answer to Otterbox). I'm a little disappointed in this, as I use those for work and outdoor recreation.

They claim that the Surface will not work with the extended battery, although whether or not they testing this I have no idea.

Got my extended battery and put the Case Mate Barely there case on the phone. It barely fits and the buttons no longer sit centered in the cut outs making it a bit trickier to get to the buttons, especially the unlock button. I'll leave it on for a few days to see if it's tolerable. Going on a trip for a week and would probably be best to put the case on.

Hm, I didn't think of that. My extended battery is on it's way, that's kind of disappointing to hear.

Not sure if the extended battery is worth it. Got mine yesterday, charged it with the phone off. Took it off the charger at 7P10am and at 10:25 I am down to 71%. I'll keep the extended battery in for a week while on vacation and go back to the regular battery since I sit at a desk all day anyway.

Anyone got the Seidio Active case? Pics? Works with extended battery?

I ordered the Active case today. I will post pics when I get mine along with if the Extended battery fits.

Speaking of extended battery-- according to Seidio's Twitter account, a lot of people are requested a case for the extended battery. I emailed them as well per their twitter feed to make the request.

Are you using it with the extended battery or door? Do you have it yet?

i got the case in yesterday. fit finish is very good, as my previous seidio surface cases have been on my other phones. it does not come off easily though, it's actually very difficult to get off.

i don't have the extended battery, but there seems to be just a little bit of wiggle room between the back of the seidio case and the phone. if you press down on the back of the case you can see it depress just slightly. there's a vzw store near me so later this week i might roll by to try the extended battery with the standard seidio surface case. i'm thinking there might be enough room for it to fit, might be a little snug though.

Anyone having a problem with the volume button on the Diztronic cases? Seems like it's misaligned too me.

My volume was sticking a little when i first got the case yesterday. I stretched the case a little by the volume rocker, but it would still do it just not as much. What is happening is the the side of the case is sticking on the side of the phone by the glass. I just scraped the extra material on the side and my buttons are no longer sticking. I installed the extended battery and the buttons are still not sticking.

Cut the volume buttons out of my Diztronic case and loving now. Used a blade to cut it out first and then a dremel to smooth it out a bit. Pretty happy with the results for the most part.
