Hi all,
This is my first time posting here, I've searched a little around the internet but haven't been able to find a good solution (or even others with the same problem).
I have a few apps, (Bing on VZW, My Verizon, TuneWiki, Rhapsody, Verizon Video) that Android Market has alerted me that there is an update available. However, my phone is rooted and using Titanium BackUp, I've frozen those apps because I don't use them. I have no plans to update any of these apps. How can I clear the list so that every morning I don't see these listed as having updates available?
Another case in point, Pandora recently released an update that says "Fix crashes on devices with Android OS prior to 2.0. So only devices with Android OS 1.5 and 1.6 need to install this update."
Okay great... I have OS 2.3.4 so I don't need to install the update - how do I remove the update notification from my "My Apps" list?
It seems to me that the Android App Market would benefit from adding a "skip this update" feature. Does anyone know of a way to get the Market to clear the updates list? (besides installing the updates). I understand that AppBrain's app may do what I want, but that's yet another app that I'll have to download to my already over-bloated (thank you VZW) device.
My device: LG Revolution OS 2.3.4 - I'm rooted, but only so I could Freeze apps with Titanium Backup.
Thanks in advance for reading.
