Really? I never have any problems it. You probably use it more that i do. I haven't tried Go yet. I think I will.

Yeah often I found jorte missing on reboot or even just randomly "problem loading widget" as if it had been forced to sd but it hadn't.
Eventually bought pure grid calendar which is great. But when I found a 3rd party ics theme pack for go widgets, I had to stray.
I mean, come on...
It's not that it looks like ics to me. It's that ics happens to look how I like things to look. I'd try this look even if ics didn't look like this.
Good thing is that because it does, lots of theming going on to make an overall look

i found it, its 67p on the market gowidget theme ics
its value for money tho as it looks awesome and all but one go widget can use the theme

Have a look at Android Pro Widget and search for APW ice and you should find a FREE theme for it. APW is my favourite app at the moment and don't understand why it never gets a mention on here. Great for twitter and Facebook. Have to pay for the Timeline feature but worth it.

Thanks. I also found ICS Pro All in One Theme which does everything including dialler which I really like but the one rastaman mentioned seems to look the nicest for the calendar.

Not rooted so the shots are via "ScreenshotIt" not the best quality but here you go. I'm still using Launcher Pro as I don't get the benefit of Go over LP 
Here are my shots:
Lockscreen - using Widget Locker with a 100% invisible lock slider on the screen, if you don't know where it is you ain't getting in to my phone lol One side of the slider unlock and the other opens the camera. The clock is SDS Clock Lite
Home - with Beautiful Widgets Home Weather, Extended Controls and Custom Icons in the dock. I've set swipe actions for each one too e.g. swiping the settings icon locks the screen with Widget Locker.
Left x 1 - with various SimiFolders as you can see. Status bar contains Battery Status (green far left) with Lookout Security/AV next to it. Each SimiFolder contains relevant apps/links etc as you can see from the mini menu of my most visited sites.
Left x 2 - with Mixzing Widget at the top and Audio Manager underneath (metallic skin)
Right x 1 - is simply Jorte Calendar Widget so I know where the hell I am or am supposed to be lol with System Info Widget at the bottom using the Eclair icons only theme.
Right x 2 - Is just for me to remember why I do a job that winds me up everyday, using Android Photo Widget for my girls.

It's kind of minimalist really, but that suites me.
I've got Aix weather, Taskos, My Allowance & Business Calendar widgets on some of my other home screens. Business Calendar works really well but the week view widget is a bit ugly & everything else I have has already been displayed here so I won't waste space.

I haven't used widget locker but I might look into it.
As an aside do alternative launchers/widget locker/beautiful widgets & the like use much additional battery power? While I have quite a few apps installed I try to minimize the kind of thing that runs constantly in the background.
