I just read about the unlocker and possible perm root with s-on. As a noob to this, I think I'll wait until things are more confirmed and "safe". I'm so afraid of bricking my phone. Just wanted to note it in here in case anybody reading hasn't come across that thread yet.

I've already done it all short of installing a custom ROM(because there aren't any). It's all pretty simple and documented fairly well. Our thread on XDA is chock full of info and people more than willing to help out.

So I was really contemplating doing the wipe when I saw the tweet from android police that HTCdev was unlocking. I've unlocked and rooted and am waiting for Scott's CleanRom ****can't wait****
