Ok your only chance is to flash stock through odin! Go to this website and download your firmware Samsung I9000 Galaxy S Firmwares. Your then going to extract it to your desktop( I find it easier using desktop). Next download odin, then follow this guide How to Flash a Galaxy S Phone back to stock | AndroidGalaxy.NET
Once you have that all downloaded open odin, add your PIT file tick re-partition, add your PDA,PHONE and CSC and THEN put your phone in DL mode and connect it. Im HOPING that if odin will keep it in that state. as soon as odin recgonizes the phone hit start.

I cannot get the phone to go into download mode. I had to use the adb reboot to get it into download. I loaded one of the firmware packages in the guide that you listed. Now I cannot get the phone to go past the Samsung S.

I cannot get into the phone to do the adb trick, and for some reason I cannot get into either download, or recovery mode.
