I'm not sure where you're from, but I wouldn't necessarily say that the 3DVO hasn't received it's fair share of love. Since it's introduction, I've seen nothing but commercials, advertisements, and mall kiosks by Sprint dedicated to showing off the 3D features on the 3DVO. I live in SoCal, and for a period of at least 5 months, I've seen an average of at least 3 HTC EVO 3D commercials a day. No doubt they wanted to target it as "the" device to have for the summer, but since then advertising has gradually died down.
However the good news is that I'm seeing a spark of marketing for it again now that we're in the holiday season. And with a lower price, I don't doubt more people have signed up to get one. I just wish Sprint/HTC would offer more stereoscopic content to new and existing customers. I understand they're in it to sell the hardware only, but it seems unfair that they'd just offer Green Hornet (if it's even still available on newer devices), and gameloft games only. You'd think they would partner with Netflicks, Blockbuster, or someone else that offers 3D movies for handheld devices.
Jay C is correct, in that we 3DVO users stick together when it comes to helping each other out. My contribution to you is to get the app PHEREO. It's completely stereoscopic centric, and once you're a member, you too can upload your pwn 3D photos.
