Is it me or does the Evo3d get no love?! I see no commercials, and HTC watch has like three 3d movies. I absolutely love this phone and IMO it's one of the best phones out. I wouldn't trade this phone for a nexus! Do you guys think we will get more 3d lovin?

I'm not sure where you're from, but I wouldn't necessarily say that the 3DVO hasn't received it's fair share of love. Since it's introduction, I've seen nothing but commercials, advertisements, and mall kiosks by Sprint dedicated to showing off the 3D features on the 3DVO. I live in SoCal, and for a period of at least 5 months, I've seen an average of at least 3 HTC EVO 3D commercials a day. No doubt they wanted to target it as "the" device to have for the summer, but since then advertising has gradually died down.

However the good news is that I'm seeing a spark of marketing for it again now that we're in the holiday season. And with a lower price, I don't doubt more people have signed up to get one. I just wish Sprint/HTC would offer more stereoscopic content to new and existing customers. I understand they're in it to sell the hardware only, but it seems unfair that they'd just offer Green Hornet (if it's even still available on newer devices), and gameloft games only. You'd think they would partner with Netflicks, Blockbuster, or someone else that offers 3D movies for handheld devices.

Jay C is correct, in that we 3DVO users stick together when it comes to helping each other out. My contribution to you is to get the app PHEREO. It's completely stereoscopic centric, and once you're a member, you too can upload your pwn 3D photos.

They played the commercial with the Dad playing ping pong with his kids and all quite a bit around here.

We saw that one a lot. And banners posted around quite a bit. I honestly don't think my 3V0 can touch the GNex right now. I love this phone but until Swype is replaced I just want to yank my hair out. (No, I do not want any other keyboard, I just want Swype to function like their new beta)

That Phereo is pretty nice. I just wish it had categories so you know what you're going to see.

Looking through it at work is like cool building, wow that waterfall looks awesome, this tree looks like it's coming out the screen, BAM: boobies.

They need some organization there, lol. The 3D pictures there are great though.

I usually go through the thumbnails and select specific pictures, instead of scrolling through all of them in stereoscopic mode one after another. This way you're forwarned if a nice set of boobies pops up while you're showing it to your boss or overly sensitive female coworkers, waiting for the right opportunity to file a sexual harassment lawsuit against your company...

I've seen very few advertisements, but I have seen the phone in more than a few shows. It's had several cameos in The League on FX, I've seen it a few times on NCIS and NCIS:LA, and others. These are the only ones that come to mind, however.
It's the main phone they show on Fringe too. Often with a video call and a Looxcie Bluetooth video headset.

If the galaxy s III does launch 3D expect a bunch more support to come along. I wouldn't be surprised to see other phone makers release statements about a 3D device since Sammy just did.

I sure hope it does launch. Not only because more 3D support is a good thing, but also because it will probably be an awesome phone that I will probably want to buy.

Samsung galaxy s fool me once, shame on you . Samsung galaxy s ii fool me twice, shame on me....

Not to thread hijack, but can you elaborate? I know a guy with a Galaxy S 2 and it's a pretty awesome phone. If it was 3D, I would trade my Evo 3D for it in a heartbeat.

Is there a reason I should be concerned about the future Galaxy S 3D? I've been pretty excited about this possible Galaxy S 3D ever since I first read about it. If you know of a reason I should not get my hopes up, I would love to hear about it.
