Nexus One Picture Thread!

Right seeing that I cannot find one like this here (please delete if there is a thread like this) I may as well start the ball rolling.

Post pictures taken with your Nexus One and if you used some custom settings and can remember them those too. The idea is so we can get a rough idea of what the camera is capable of, in certain conditions, with certain settings.

Tutorial for uploading using only your Nexus One

  1. Download the Photobucket app from the Market Place
  2. Sign up to Photobucket within the app (Settings > Login/Signup)
  3. (Be sure to turn off automatic upload in the Settings)
  4. Upload chosen picture from your gallery (Upload > Upload existing)
  5. Once uploaded, press the finished picture in the Upload window
  6. Choose the picture you want in your Photobucket gallery and view it
  7. Press the menu button and select View Links
  8. Tap the Direct link (it will auto copy to your clipboard)
  9. Come to the forums on the Nexus One and reply whilst pasting the link into the image box
  10. DONE! :D

So here's the first pic by me:

Was taken over the weekend when I went to visit some friends in Canterbury. All settings on automatic. I found the camera over compensated when I tilted it too high because of the sky so I had to point it down further than I would normally.. Not the best but I'm already impressed from the huge jump in picture quality from the HTC Heros' '5MP camera'.

I got my Nexus One this past Saturday and while I was out and about, I was playing with the Camera and took the shot below. Now, I was just messing with the camera and forgot I even took this picture until I read this thread.

Looking at this picture on the Nexus One was nice, seeing it on my desktop, HOLY CRAP! This picture is way better than I have EVER seen come from a phone!

This picture is out of the window of a restaurant in Seattle, WA - USA. The significance of this is that it is February, SUNNY and 60 degrees (f) outside...:eek:

Strange...I hosted my picture on Photobucket and it wasn't reduced in size at all. Nice pic anyway though! :D

And 1080P, some of those paintball guns look seriously heavy duty! How they've changed since I last went paintballing!

This was taken after a night out a few weeks ago. One of the first photos I took on the camera.

I think it shows quite well how drunk my mate must have been.

Haha sweet. Yeah one thing that I find very surprising is how bright the flash actually is! Now if only the imaging software is better with low light then I'll be very happy. As it is I think you can really only take stunning pictures during the day but I guess the same could be said for nearly every camera phone out there.
