Is anyone doing extended battery with a thin case like Case Mate BT or Incipio feather while removing the battery door? I've heard this fits perfectly.

It fits, but I'm not doing it. The BT case isn't really that much protection to begin with- if I dropped it I'm sure it'd just pop off. Plus it's still not exactly flush with the phone, I would be really leery of having that much of the "insides" of the phone exposed.

I dont see it listed on Amazon so I cant use Prime.....my phone arrives tomorrow, I already have a Diztronics revision 1 on the way but would prefer the newest if I could get it fairly quickly.

There was a note on the site saying to place orders by Jan 6th for fulfillment prior to them leaving for CES.

I actually just ordered one off ebay....not sure if its Diztronics directly or just a dealer but they have revision 3 shipping same price as Diztronics website, should be here by the end of the week.

Has anyone commented on the quality of the included screen protector? I still havent found a good option just yet, would be really easy if the Diztronics one works nicely so I wont need to keep looking.

I am pleased enough with the included protector that I haven't ordered the Steinheil I originally intended to order. It doesn't go to the edge of the screen, but my understanding is that most of the options don't.

It has absolutely no orange peel. There is some oil slick effect when the screen is off, but I really don't notice it.

I have the one shipped with the first version of the case. I thought I had read that newer versions were getting a revised protector... guess I will see when my revised case gets here.

Thanks for the info!

I have a revision 1 on the way already just because of the sale on Amazon (for 5 bux shipped it can at least be a spare case).

I bought one of the rev 3 cases of Ebay, and read on the products website that rev 2 included a revised (edge to edge) screen protector. If 10.00 covers the case and a good screen protector, thats definitely a win! I dont mind paying extra for the Steinheil, but Im disappointed I cant get another Ultra Crystal and it seems the Flex isnt as good as one would hope.

Currently have the Otterbox Defender I'm thinking of ordering a Diztronic Rev. 3 after looking at it. I love the OB but it's a dust/lint magnet and the oil slick drives me insane. The only reason stopping me from buying a Diztronic is I'm curious how durable it is. I have complete faith in the OB if I were to drop it and I like that it feels tactile and isn't going to slip out of my hand. How are the Diztronics in that aspect? As for right now it's between the OB Commuter and the Diztronic, but is it worth the extra money to get the extra protection and durability from the OB?

i got my surface case the other day, and i have an extended battery. it left a small gap at the bottom of the case, so what i did was cut the bottom part of the felt on the inside and peeled it off. now the case fits fine. i'd love to show you a pic, but its kinda hard to photograph the outside of my phone with my phone. but i'm happy with the results, and i'm pretty fussy;)

I'm using the Ditztronic with the extended battery with the volume buttons cut out compliments of me. No issues, it fits fine.

I think I'm in the group of rev 1 folks that could request a rev 3 version, so I might just do that.

Seidio has listed there 3800 mAh (non-NFC compatible) extended battery as "coming soon" though, so I think I'm going to hold off another case until then.

The Diztronic case is excellent. The revision 3 is perfect. I tried the Qubit one and not only is it made in china but it feels flimsy and cheap and doesn't cover the phone well. The Diztronic does a great job especially with the extended battery. And the customer service is AWESOME. I had a rev2 case and they offered to send me the new rev3 as a replacement. They are great people to talk to. Order from them! The Rev3 is only available on their website TPU-CASES.COM, - All TPU Cases Shipped Free in the USA for now.

Where's the cheapest place to get the diztronic?

amazon.com

For those who are interested in ordering a Diztronic case, use coupon code XDA to get $1 off on their website.

best place to order from is their own website since you get a discount of $1 ($0.99 to be exact) off your entire purchase and you don't have to pay for shipping if your order is above $5 dollars (this is assuming you don't have amazon prime if you're ordering off of amazon.com).

site: TPU-CASES.COM, - All TPU Cases Shipped Free in the USA

I just got an email from Clay at the customer service department at Diztronic, and just a heads up that the link that has been posted on this site (on page 6 I believe) is going to be inactivated. He said it was already supposed to be, and that there is a new ticketing system in place. For all future concerns, I would check out their website...

OT:
And to everyone who had said it before, I wanted to corroborate that their customer service is top notch. I told them of my issue with the original case, and he put a new revision 3 case in today's mail after I emailed just an hour earlier! It's refreshing to see this when I feel as if most company's have completely abandoned their customer service reputations [I'll jump down from my soap box now, haha].

grab the digi cam and take one for the team.
oh wait, that came out wrong...

I have the extended battery and the surface case at home but I won't be picking up my GN until this weekend so it's good to hear that others have gotten the combo to work.
I know a member here mentioned removing the bottom clips on the extended battery back plate but I think I'll start with removing the felt and going from there.
thanks!
