No I used the program to do it for me I know it works because I had several. Cba on my phone go to market type boot animations you will see a shit load of them use bac lite goto menu it will say install sound lib then pick ur sound u want

Unless you have bricked the prevail very well you generally only need to use the pda.

If you are doing a complete change over, say from CM7 to gingerbread you may then want to use all 3.

So it's not needed if i'm installing cm7. I use it only if I want to go back to stock?

I have now also enabled it myself, with the use of the app you suggested, and it works perfectly. Thank you

Your welcome I'm glade I was able to help as I stated b4 u need a custom room with boot animations enabled but the sound part u just need the lib u can change the sound under /system/media

I can't fix my wifi problems using CM7. I have tried every suggestion here to no avail. I have reflashed CM7 several times using new downloads each time. My latest attempt was the most drastic when I...

1.Odin EE14 (Wifi works fine)
2.Odin EE06 (Wifi works fine)
3.Flash CM7 using CWM
4.Flash HF2 using CWM
5.Reboot
6.Connect to wifi
7.Toggle wifi
8.Install Titanium Backup, Tasker, and SwiftKey X

Each time wifi seems to work but will randomly disconnect. Sometimes it will immediately reconnect, other times I will have toggle wifi to get it to reconnect. The only apps installed right now are Titanium Backup, Tasker, and SwiftKey X. Any other ideas? Other than wifi this port is flawless. Please help I gotta have my CM7!

Installed yesterday and so far no problems with messaging, installed cm7 and hot fix without rebooting as suggested.
Does anyone have issues with apps force closing a lot? For the majority of the time it happens when I start up an app. Minor problem though, just curious if it's a bug on CM7 or if something else may be causing it.
And like several other people have posted sound comes from both speakers during phone calls while on speakerphone. But for some reason I still can barely hear the person I'm talking. When I was on 3.2 speakerphone worked great, it's lowest volume was twice as loud as it is with 3.5's turned all the way up.

I've had some issues with it what I done was disabled 3g connected to wifi once u start say market for example the wifi icon will disappeared trying.to.reconnect to 3g but with it.off it will reconnect to wifi takes about 4 to 9 secs for me

Did you reboot after moving them?
I copied my tones to system/media/ring tones and notifications and Reboot and i was good to go.

Read post 2 u need clock workmod recovery then flash cm7 3,5 and hotfix 2

Someone wrote in an earlier post that their magic heap size was 32 but honestly I experienced quite a bit of lag at random times using 32 so now I use 48 and it seems to work much better.

I had the opposite experience. I had more lag with 48 than 32. But.there were other variables that changed around the same time so who knows?

Having pretty much no issues whatsoever, except that the keyboard doesn't have the "Return/Enter" Arrow thing. I use this key very often. It seems to be replaced by a smiley face emote button. How could I change this back? Or use the keyboard from CTMod?

Also the soft-buttons aren't vibrating, and that bugs me too. I turned on haptic feedback but still a no-go.

The strangest thing began to occur today, my phone started to only ring once per incoming phone call. The incoming call screen would come up but after the first ring it would go silent. Now, instead of even giving me at least one ring and the dialer screen the phone makes this ever so small chirp sound and no dialer at all it stays on what ever screen it was on ie SMS, browser etc. After dialing myself with my girlfriends phone to test the situation I also noticed that from the person dialings end it either rings 2-3 times or it barely rings once as if they were getting ignored.

I restored a recent nandroid backup and now its back to only ringing once and dialer screen, lets see if it reverts back to the whole chirp thing.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Yes this has been happening to me also so... i dont know what makes this happen but the only why i can ever fix it is if i pull the battery and then its ok for a week or so then it happens again. I dont know why this happens ?? ...

I noticed it says you are using CTMOD in your avatar area, did you experience this weird ringtone bug using CTMOD or were you at some point using CM7? I'm just trying to find out if its effecting other mods because if it is, then it's quite possible it stems from a step some of us may be taking before we install our mods. Like I myself used ODIN to get to stock GB but I used the Sock GB+Root Odin image before flashing to CM7 3.5HF2 as opposed to the Vanilla GB ODIN image which is also available.

I've been using 24 for about a week now and it seems to have alot less lag than 32.. Seems to be a better multitasker too.

Thanks. Just switched to this to give it a try. I did not have any problems really with 32, but this may be even better.
