Hello friends, i Am Eashan And

I want to buy my first android mobile -
Some Requirements -
1.Decent Camera - 8MP or More.. Secondary Camera Also Needed
2.Processor - Dual 1Ghz Or More..
3.High Gaming Experience And Apps
4. Upgrade To Ice Cream Sandwich

My Considerations -
1. Samsung Galaxy S2
2. LG Optimus 2X (With Nvidea Tegra 2)
3. HTC Sensation XE
4. HTC Sensation
5. HTC Incredible S
6. Sony NEO
7. Iphone 4S

Im Super Confused As You Can See by The number of Choices I v In Mind..
If You Can know a Better Phone in the same price range, plz suggest..

Thx Again For The help..

Just wanna point out that the iPhone 4S isn't Android, and used iOS.

Anyway, from what you've asked I'd lean towards the S2. However, have you had a look at the Galaxy Nexus? I'm pretty sure it's a similar spec to the S2, but comes running Ice Cream Sandwich. Software aside, the S2 would probably be your best bet.

1 More Thing I Need To Tell You Bro; That If I will go For Samsung Galaxy S2 ; I Will Have To Buy a 3 Month Used Version Of It (Though With 9 month Warranty) It just exceeds ma budget

And If I Go For Lg optimus 2X I Cn buy A Brand New One ..

So Looking At This Point too; Does Your Opinion Chnage Or You Still Think # moth old s2 wil be better ??

For gaming, I'd go either XE or the LG 2X. The SGS2 is more powerful overall, but not all games support the Mali-400 on it. It will run apps smoother and render faster, problem is you'll need Chainfire for some games. The XE or 2X should run all games out of the box.

Camera quality would IMO be better on the SGS2 than either XE or 2X though, while music quality is arguably in the favor of SGS2, simply because the XE's Beats is just a marketing shimsham, and I trust more in Samsung's expertise in making dedicated cameras and music players.

Overall though I'd probably take the XE in your situation due to gaming out of the box.

For music, I'd take SGS2 over XE. The Beats system on the XE can be replicated in the equalizer settings on the SGS2 music player, and the Beats headset isn't really that good (Sennheisers for half the price of a Beats sound better, but I must admit the Beats look cool). Not to mention media hasn't really been one of HTC's strong points historically.

Basically the only disadvantage of an XE to an S2 is, well the S2 has a better display and smoother, faster UI and processing because the S2 launcher system is hardware accelerated while the XE is not.

If I remember correctly, the Play has the same camera as the Xperia Arc, so its right up there with the S2 as the two best cameras on any Android. Problem is that the XE and S2 has better GPU's than the Play, so some games may work better on them, not to mention the limited memory onboard the Play (300mb only without card, the S2 and XE have 16GB). The good thing about the Play is that you got Play optimized playstation games.

Honestly? The S2 has higher exposure, which can be adjusted in the settings if you like it to look more like the one on the XE.

However I already said that if you want gaming, you're better off with the XE.

As for 1gb internal memory, it should be enough, just put the other game data to the SD card, with the game launcher itself in the phone memory. Newer games often have game data of up to 500mb each game.

EDIT: I was talking about still imaging, not videos when saying the S2 had one of the best cameras among Android phones. Didn't really care much for videos taken with phones.

XE has better gaming than SGS2 in my opinion because the XE uses an Adreno 220 GPU, where more high end games are compatible to it out of the box. For SGS2, some games may give you incompatibility issues with the Mali-400 GPU it uses, needing you to install Chainfire for you to be able to run some games. Some gaming developers are already making special versions for the SGS2 and similar devices using Mali-400 though, and Chainfire also allows SGS2 to play Tegra games. Although such mods could get a bit technical.

As for camera, looking at the samples from these, the SGS2 looks better.

Can't be sure which games work or not work on it, but FPS? I'd get a Play if you really wanted to pay with your phone. I honestly find gaming on cellphones not very good. I'd rather get a PSP or DS if I wanted to play. Or if a phone, the Xperia Play, never mind the memory. The problem is the controls if you get a touch screen phone.

From that link you gave me:
Sensation XE
- Passmark rating (higher is better) 1529
- CPU Marking (higher is better) 2548
- Rank (lower is better) 50

SGS2 I9100G
-Passmark rating (higher is better) 1622
- CPU marking (higher is better)3784
- Rank (lower is better) 33

Depends on which SGS2 you will buy (Here in my country, the I9100G is the one they sell in Samsung Stores). You have to check. Some carriers like T-mobile USA requested for a specific SGS2 hardware set which will change performance. You'd want an SGS2 with an Exynos chipset. T-mobile requested for one with a TI-OMAP chipset which is weaker than the Exynos.
