Mechanical

Along similar lines, there is some mechanical art work by Michael Sullivan, a very imaginative movie and art producer.

Several years ago I was searching in Google Images for an avatar for a lady in a forum who talked a lot about Deborah Harry. Just by happinstance Sullivan had done a work titled, "Robot Goddess" which used D.H.'s face as a portion of the "scene" he'd created.

This article is about the silly, "robot sex" film he put together, but the interesting thing is how his art is basically all mechanical scenes.. the goofy scenes are not the most safe for work, and I won't put them in here, of course, but the links are at the review site.

Don't click if NSFW, etc:

It's a bit of an aside from here, not about watches or clocks, but it is about mechanical things of interest/art.

I think its just amazing to think of the mechanical side of things. I mean even the modern computer the way electricity goes through and the way memory works the cpu works I mean not as elegant as the watches but still mechanical And now they can do the same thing with a cell phone. I remember looking at the old TV's and the tubes and sound all the different components that it took to make them work. Old radio's the same way.
