I've got an iPad 2 however, as you guys all know, I am not able to do all things on this thing. However I first want to be sure that I can do all the things I want to do on the prime also work..

So first of all, am I able to upload files on web pages, just like on the computer?
And last but not least, what do you guys think of changing from ipad 2 to Prime? So are there like other points on the prime which totally kill the the ipad2?
(Maybe some good VS pages about this topic? Give me the URL).

Thanks for answering,

I won a Ipad 2 at my job this past Christmas. I own a Apple Itouch 4G and a Mac Mini as home pc so I'm truly unbiased. After taking a stab at the Pad 2 I felt like the Ipad 2 was just a bigger version of an Itouch. I played with it for a week and I just got fustrated with not being apple to do EVERTHING I want do. I mean downloading music and movies on the spot as opposed ot being stuck in the Apple Store. I know Apple fanboys are quick to argue all the sites are customized for flash viewing. Not true for several sites though. (mobil and desktop seemed no different) I even wasted $4.99 on skyfire. It was no different either. I sold my Ipad 2 for $500 for a fast sale and ordered a Prime from Office Depot with a 2 week time frame and my dock arrived last Thursday.

A few things I can say was good or better then the Prime about the Pad 2 is the browser speed and set up was super fluid. The Pad 2 has way more apps. Millions of apps to choose from. The Market is in the hundred thousands..How many do ppl actually use from each though? I always find what I'm looking for in the Market. The Prime also have Amazons Market and Tegrazone to look forward to so no complaints there for me. OS5 is is a great interface but still limited to customization. I felt the responsiveness was perfect yet great on the Prime as well. As far as browsing for viewing?..On the Asus Prime. I see EVERYTHING thanks to flash. I even let my kids watch watch "watchcartoononline" in my car on the go while tethering to my Evo 3D. Customization on this Tablet is beyond the Ipad 2, (even when not rooted). The camera or video from Ipad 2 cannot compete with the Prime. I've recorded basketball games even in a dim gym of my little ones, (using no flash) and it came pretty close to the Iphone 4S phone, (which I've played with before turning it down months back on Sprint).I also have the dock and just kicked my tablet up another notch. The faces when I pull this thing out and ppl go "oh but thats a netbook"..I pull the tablet off and reply "no a tablet". Ohhhhh..Thats nice.Me "yea its a keyboard with 10 hrs battery life"..Priceless.I never been able to make time for gaming even but now that I have this Shadow Gun and Riptide I'm FINDING THE TIME now..Ipad 2 gaming was cool to but I feel this blows that socks off it without trying thanks to core processors..

I've been watching these forums after the ICS update and decided not to jump in just yet and can understand the anger from ppl not happy with GPS or Wifi. My wifi works fine. GPS only works tethered to my phone..But like several others I wouldn't use mine for GPS anyways. I use my rooted Evo 3D which works fine. Some of these threads had me pretty worried after ICS updated so but I realized for me if it ain't broke dont fix it. Aside from that I came across the new 1 click root method and plan on rooting soon to open a new world....I decided a Tablet with limitations (Ipad 2) just wasn't for me so I'm sticking with the PRIME.

Hi, delurking here as my 64g Prime arrived today. Im an ipad refugee, had the original one since it came out. The switch is not hard for me because i have had an Android phone for several months.

To answer the upload question, i was able to upload a document to my website using the browser. Liking it more and more.

My only comparison between the two products is the keyboards. The iPad keyboard is perfect for touch typists like me it types just like a regular keyboard. The Android one seems awkward the keys are too small and laid out unusually and it doesn't keep up with me. So does anyone know any keyboards that is comparable to the iPad or some tips on better using the android one.

Are you talking about the Asus keyboard or the ICS keyboard? The ICS keyboard is better than the Asus keyboard on the Prime. There are also several options in the Android Market.

yes i am speaking about the ics keyboard and yes it is indeed better than the asus one. ive tried several ones from the market already and all of them seem to either not able to keep up or the auto correct does not work very well. the ics keyboard is my preference right not my only wishes were that it does a better job of auto correcting and was a little faster (actually im not sure if this is due to hardware or software).

It may be software related. The keyboard I'm using is AI Type keyboard. It is customizable, it can be used as whole keyboard, as thumb keyboard, and as a floating thumb keyboard. The prediction is pretty good because it tries to predict the next word you're about to type and you can just choose the word. I believe they have a free version you can try.
