Switching to Verizon

Hey guys, I recently switched to Sprint from AT&T. I loved AT&T up in Michigan, but since moving down to Phoenix, it was horrible. Well, Sprint is not much better for me I'm afraid. I have the Epic 4G Touch (which I LOVE), but the service is horrible. I cannot pick up a signal from the hospital where I work to save my life. Anyway, I did a little research and found that Verizon has the best coverage in the areas I need it. I need some advice on their 4G LTE devices.

If it was a perfect world, I would be able to wait until the Razr Maxx comes out before switching. Unfortunately I only have until the 23rd to switch, so I need to figure out a phone to get that would be worth keeping if by some reason the Maxx doesn't release before the 14 day exchange period. Here is what I need as far as a phone: I work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week, with an hour commute one way. So, I need a phone that will last roughly 14 hours away from the charger (I don't mind turning off 4G). I don't stream many videos to my phone, I don't really play many games, mainly email, texts, voice calls, Facebook, and mobile banking.

That said, I am looking at the Bionic because of the extended battery option. Of course if the Maxx debuts before my 14 days are up, I will gladly pay the restocking fee. The only thing holding me back on the Bionic is that I am concerned about it being supported. I am new to Android, and I really need to get some advice, thank in advance :)

To be honest, most phones last all day if you turn data off when not in use.

My thunderbolt could last a day and a half if I toggled data when I needed it.

I would recommend the galaxy nexus for if you are switching. It will get the most frequent updates from Google, have a solid performance, and kinda keep in line with the epic 4G touch.

Seidio released a 3800mah battery for the nexus, which isn't bad considering the Thunderbolt extended battery is a tumor on its back.
