whenever I make a call with my phone, the display switches off and does not come back unless I switch off power by removing battery and refix.

Help display going off when number dialled

Hi Ashok, I may be on the wrong track here, but does the phone actually stop working, or does the screen just go blank? This is normal when making/receiving a call & if you put the phone up to your ear & then take it away again the proximity sensor will activate the screen for a bit. You shouldn't need to turn the phone off, unless there is another problem. Can you elaborate a bit? Thanx. Graham

Have a look in Settings> Call Settings> Additional Settings. There's an option in there to disable the screen blanking during calls.
