Honestly, I don't think it's going to be that big a change. It will fix some bugs, maybe add a couple minutes of screen time, possibly an hour or two of cell standby time... overall increasing battery life by a couple % points at best. The overall OS experience will be improved by a few % points at best.

Although I'm still going to wait until it gets pushed out to check it out. Then after I try the official 4.0.3, I might start trying out custom roms. Because the features I really want just aren't built into the official android. I really want a quick access 4G/3G toggle and a custom power/lock button menu like the one in AOKP. I'd also love to have under/over clock/volt capability. But for the most part it is all marginal improvements, nothing life changing.

But... word on the street seems to be that people expect it by the end of January. Will that happen? Probably not is my guess. This phone seems to have a tendency for things to get pushed back (maybe that's normal for most phones). So best to just enjoy 4.0.2 and be patient.

I just hope Google doesn't use the Mayan calender.....because then we might never see another update ever......this being 2012 and all.

When you feel forced to explain the joke, chances are it wasn't funny to begin with :p

By the way, here we are, wondering when will we get 4.0.3, when all other Android users -except the Nexus S ones- are wondering if they will get 4.0 at all :D
