Here's another case review. I purchased the Seidio [edit] Surface case for the OEM extended battery along with a holster. I've had the Seidio holster for every smartphone I've owned and I had the surface case to go along with the holster on my Droid. I'm a big fan of Seidio accessories in general.
The case adds very little bulk and is a hard case instead of plastic. It has everything cut out except for the 3 pin dock connectors, which will no doubt annoy and deter some folks. There isample separation from the buttons so they are not difficult to press at all. All of the cutouts line up perfectly.
My only complaint is the case is a bit slippery. Like I said, I've had surface case before on my Droid and I don't recall it being this slippery. I still have the case, so I'll compare. It's not a dealbreaker, but it is disheartening.
I purchased this case 2 days before I saw the Cruzer lite cases in this thread, so it was already en-route when I ordered the Cruzer Lites. I decided to accept the delivery and make a comparison.
I still like the Cruzer-Lite cases better because they fit well and aren't slippery, plus they come in colors and have the cool little Android dude. The Seidio active case is nice because it is also thin, is hard, and has a holster that fits it perfectly. Unfortunately, it only comes in black. I don't know if they plan to offer other colors.
Since I'm apparently a case whore now (1 Ditztronic, 3 Cruzer-lite, 1 Seidio), I guess I will keep this case for when I want to use a holster and use the Cruzer-lite's when for when I'm ready to change it up. The Ditztronic is now going in the drawer, never to be spoke of again, unless I managed to break all 4 other cases.
My husband is probably going to tell me soon that if he sees another box delivered to me with an accessory for my phone, he's going to label me an accessory addict. I guess I better intercept and hide the Seidio screen protectors due in next week.
