Help Known Bug?

Running 4.0.1, forced GPU rendering checked, sometimes I'm typing a text, maybe an email as well, and I get dumped to the homescreen.
I don't know whether the OP's problem is caused by this option, but be aware that enabling "force GPU rendering" will screw up a number of apps. The Astro file manager is a prime example, where the entire toolbar disappeared. It also messed up one of the solitaire games -- clicking "deal new game" caused all of the cards to completely disappear. I've even seen specific warnings in the Market descriptions of a couple other apps I run (can't remember exactly which) stating that the app won't run properly with that option enabled. Frankly, I never detected any noticeable difference in performance with it on or off, and app compatibility was more important to me anyway.

I was worried that might be the cause. I'm being a LOT more careful hitting the spacebar though and it seems carelessly hitting it and the home button might have been the culprit.

I've noticed some apps got smoother forcing GPU rendering - like the Twitter app.
