Root [ROM] CM7 TG-Reloaded (Final: 03-25)

has anyone undervolted on the latest? if so which app, how significant the changes ,and what's the gain in battery life.

I have, though it seems that 800mv is the limit. I have set lower, but it doesn't seem to respect that. On 500MHz if I go below 850mv, I get an instant reboot, if I go to 775 it runs normally. I have been playing with that in mind as of late

Speeking of late. I need to get my wallet from work before I need to be at work:rolleyes:

edit: Oh and to answer your questions. I use Incredivolt from the market. And the battery life is maginally improved.

I'm using incredicontrol app and it seems that after I set it up and check the set on boot box, after a reboot the numbers are back to stock.

Phone lasted less than 7 hours again today. Before it died, I checked BBS and sure enough, mmc1,2,3. Threw in the new battery, started up, and no issues again. Cycled wifi a few times and has still been fine. Weird. Past few days have been great though. Just about got me through the day on one battery. :)

I have a couple questions about this ROM. I've looked around and think I have it, but here goes. I recently installed CM7 on my Triumph b/c of constant reboots and now the thing is great. So, Reloaded is a continuation since TickerGuy left the project, yes? If I flash this ROM, will I need to reinstall all my apps and screens like when I flashed CM7? Also, will I need to do gapps again as well? I'm sorry if this is somewhere else already, but I'm just trying to clarify.

Thanks to everyone for the help. I had given up on this phone, but the CM7 breathed new life into it.

Build 2012-01-25:

Updates from Cyanogenmod 7:
- Fixed status bar swipe race (freezing) condition
- Customizable Carrier Label in Settings
- Bluetooth quickconnect option
- ICS rotation & transition animations.
- Option to lock volume keys in silent mode.
- Automatically restart ADB if TCP port settings change.
- Other minor fixes.

Where is the settings for the carrier label?

BTW, I LOVE the rotate animation

Hey quick question, what is the bluetooth quickconnect option? I tried googling it but couldn't find an answer.

Here's the author's description:

"Allow reducing the BT connection delay.
By default, a four-second delay is imposed on some devices between setting up HFP and A2DP. This makes Bluetooth initialization take much longer than it needs to for many devices. This delay is very annoying; slow Bluetooth connections often mean the user is sitting around, waiting for it to complete. Allow disabling this delay if the user's devices don't need it. I've assumed that some devices do (it's there for a reason), so the default is unchanged."

All of your questions are answered in post #1. If coming from an older CM7, just need to wipe cache & dalvik-cache before flashing, it keeps all your settings. No need to install gapps either.

If I were to take the stock gingerbread launcher out of one of TG's old build and remove ADW. Would that work??

Thanks for your work!

Should work.

With the new 1/25 build, my wireless just sits at "Obtaining IP address"

I didn't notice this when I connected to my wifi at home on the new build.

I think the wakelock bug is still somewhere in the kernel. I did notice a few times too.

For the occasional hard-to-reproduce problem, try wiping cache, dalvik-cache, and pulling out battery for a few minutes. There may be some odd memory blocks that isn't cleared properly.

Flashed the new update but status bar still froze again. Any way to unfreeze it without rebooting?

Oddly, I have never had the status bar freezing problem yet. I don't have any sound, vibrations, animations turned on either. I enable the status bar option to 'hide after 1 tap' so just swipe down, make my toggle switch, 2 swipes total, and it auto hides.
