I'm none of those types. ... There should be an existential one, because that must be me. I don't spam religion at people, or boring news stories, and I only post one or two things every few days.

Facebook is boring, everyone knows AF friends is way better ...

I don't post unless it's nonsense - Meezes do as Meezes pleezes - meaning we have a very headstrong Siamese cat.

I do check on friends - but will email them.

I ran into a dev on Market, wanted to see a FAQ and got directed to a FB page.
I've had other companies do that, too.

That's something I hate.

When a commercial ends with (instead of their URL) the company's facebook address.

Luckily, now a lot of companies are including both addresses.... 0_o

Everything is "Friend us on FB" now. Even PBS. Local tv stations, newspaper.

I honestly can't say I am any of those. I comment on friends' and family's status occasionally, usually just if they seem upset. Otherwise I stay away from Facebook. They are lucky I have little sisters and nieces to check on.

I guess I would be a combination of the collector and liker. I do post very rarely, but it's mostly just sports nonsense or pictures of the munchkin for relatives.

Being locate in Japan, I am only just starting to understand how addictive FB can be, because it took me this long until my friends started using FB to a point where haing a FB account made sense.

So, still in the honeymoon period.
Lets see how it goes from here....

Oh, I remember this stage. I added all of my classmates all the way back to grade 4. I didn't remember names of those prior to that

I am an occasional FB user. More often than not, I use it to complain about a company. Seems those that have a corporate FB page really do not like bad customer experiences posted. FB is a bit more immediate than going though a company CS department.

Virgin Mobile replaced my Triumph battery only after I asked about it on their FB page. Messages to VM's CS did not work, so I took it up a notch.

I've connected with old friends I could not find using web searches, so I use FB to find people. It was amazing that people I looked for for years were right there on FB.

Occasionally, I post something that is very crude and terrible. Can't do it here, so FB is where I go. FB is also a great place to rile up those that hate Jailbreakers. I usually post a link to a good info site. Makes some people really mad. I guess I would be described as a terrible FB user because I use it to abuse others.

I am thinking of using FB to advertise my crap. Or not, I do not know.

FB is going public, not sure what that will mean to us occasional users. Not sure why I mentioned it here, but I did.

I would like others to visit my FB page. On not, I do not care. I can be found, but I advise you all to stay away. About all you will find is crass attempts at humor, totally uncalled for insults and crass comments about people I hate sans knowing them.

Over all, I give FB six out of ten.5 stars.

Hated the place.

So far, I haven't got any other Snowshoe Cats trying to friend me. My avatar is a Snowshoe. I usually only complain to those who ignore email anyway.

I check wall posts with a widget. And I post something occasionally. But most of the time it's pictures of people's kids, the games they're playing, or a whine fest. What can you really say to that?

So I leave it alone most of the time. People know they need to text me if they really want my attention

Personally I find FB a sometimes useful but mostly unnecessary resource. I periodically watch my FB account to see what others have to say but mostly see "I'm at this store", "I'm at this restaurant", "I'm at this bar", or "I'm playing this game" sort of posts.

And I found it necessary, a long while back, to restrict and subsequently curtail my posts on the medium...
